This question is meant for both gender. I just wanna know what are the views of the society regarding virginity. For example, for guys, whether you give a damn about ur gf's/wife's virginity. And girls, do you lose it easily or you are still fighting to keep it for your future husband.

If its telemarketers, people selling something at the door, if I walk into a store and am the only person I feel like I have to buy something. If I talk to a vendor about a price and then find a better deal later on, I feel bad about leading on the previous vendor and buy from them anyway. I worked in customer service for over 8 years when I was in highschool and college and know how those people feel and how hard they work, so I am never rude or send anything back no matter what. I need to change this but dont know how. Am I too nice or just a pansy?

I worked with a wonderful 40 something woman for two years and she really touched my heart. Long story short she was diagnosed with a brain tumour three months ago and just lost her fight aged 48. Now she was such a vibrant lady, she loved going out, zooming around in her car, shoes (the higher heels the better) and always wore the latest trend. Now what am I supposed to wear to her funeral? I want to wear big heeled shoes and white to celebrate the fact that she ever lived but will her family (including an 18 year old daughter) understand or will I unintentionally offend them? Is subdued and black best? (If it's of any relevance I am 23 and the funeral is in Oxford UK)

I live in a city, and normally I wouldn't have a problem with this, but some people ride their bikes on the sidewalks and don't ring a bell or let you you know they are coming up on you. Three times today I have turned around and a bike has whipped past me with no warning. If I turned the wrong way they would have run me over. Without resorting to violence, how do I let these bikers know this upsets me?

Many people say this is because they don't want their car to smell. What I don't get is this...if smokers don't have any problems sticking those things in their mouth and inhaling the smoke, then why don't they like the smell of the butts in their car?

Doesn't this annoy you? There are five customers in the joint and you get stuck next to Hacking Old Man or Screaming Little Brat.

What can we do to stop this?

The little 7 year old girl across the street had a yard sale on a Tuesday evening from 6 to 8:30 pm. She knocked and rang my doorbell 4 times asking me to come over and shop. She had toys and clothes out. She gave me a paper with scribbling saying "Yard Sale". I told her that I was in the middle of something. She needed to have it on a Saturday morning not on a week night. She was dirty as usual. This time she had dried paint on her body and in her hair. I told her to take a bath. She said " I need money. We are so poor". I asked her, "Aren't we all?" She said "Thanks anyway". This little girl is getting more weird everyday. My parents would beat the living crap out of me if I ever did such a thing. Suggestions? Opinions?

Every time I see a movie and more than 10-20 members of a certain race are in the audience, they proceed to hoot and holler at the screen. When they are not present, I have never seen this happen. It seems to be some sort of pack mentality that takes over. They talk to the characters on the screen and even give them advice. It is very rude. Has anyone else seen this happen?

When you have a conversation with a girl who you feel like blowing up at because when you were mean to each other in the past, but instead you try to restrain your temper, focus on the good things about her(how hard of a worker she is etc...)are gentle with her,and give her the space she needs afterwards. She responds favorably giving you a sign of warmth peacefulness and with a bit of a smile on her face.Is this respect or integrity you showed/also is her reaction a good thing?

twice this school year, two people i've met have asked me "what are you?" within the first few questions they asked to get to know me. how would you handle this question? i am not tolerant when i hear this question because i think it's very disrespectful to dumb down a person's life, experiences, and existence to what ethnicity they are. inside, when asked this question, i can't help but scream "WHAT THE HELL DOES IT MATTER WHAT I AM????"... but at the same time, i was also talking to two people i felt i wanted to make a good impression on upon meeting (my new roommate and a co-worker i met my first day on the job)... how would you respond if someone you just met asks you this?

My husband and I are in our 20's. We bought our first home a year and a half ago. We are expecting our second child shortly. My in-laws live 3 hours away and when they visit us they stay overnight at our house, which only has 2 bedrooms. I do not have the best relationship w/ them (see another question of mine!) and it is really stressful for me with them sleeping in my living room for days at a time. If we had another room where they could stay , it wouldn't be so bad. Now with the baby coming it's going to be even more crowded. Is there a way to say this nicely?

My floor only has one washer and dryer, and we are not allowed to use the machines on other floors. I put in my load and returned in 30 minutes to switch it to the dryer (I use a timer, so I know I am not taking too long,) Someone has propped open the door with a HUGE cart of dirty laundry. Was I rude to go ahead and put my second load in? I did get there first, and there was nobody hanging around...

I live in a house with four other apartments. We all hang out every once in awhile. I recently bought a new grill because I love to BBQ. My neighbors are now coming down everyday asking to use it or sometimes I come home grab the veggie burgers and head outside only to find someone using the grill. How to I tell people not to use it. I don't feel like I can be rude, but at the same time it's my grill.
