1. yeah people on here actually are concerned with winning points! wether you think it or not...

and 2..... maybe people need to be more original then in what they say! because this is the most over used sentence on here! im sick of reading the same thing at the end of answer after answer, yeah maybe people are trying to be nice but regardless its over used and annoying!!!!!!

It's just a polite expression, and even if it is a bit of a cliche, we don't always have to come up with something original. It's not a book we're writing, it's only an answer.

I don't think it's a way of asking 'pick my answer'; now that I do think is annoying! Some people are concerned with points but I only cared when I was level 1 and 2, it was annoying to not being able to give thumbs up/down, and to run into the daily limits quickly. Ever since level 3, I really could care less. I think most mature people are the same way since there's really no use for points apart from loosening up those daily limits.

No, it's just you. Did you ever think maybe that person genuinely and sincerely hopes the answer they took the time to type out for you is helpful to you in some way? Why in the world would anyone be annoyed by a polite gesture? Would you prefer it if they were rude instead?

And I doubt many people are overly concerned with winning points. It's not like they're worth anything. There's no grand prize for the most points or anything.

I am sorry you get annoyed by that. Many people are not experts on a subject but are happy to give the information they have.

I hope this helps.
