The girls want me to give them an invite list for a shower. It's going to be a casual type thing, possibly a picnic at someone's house.

We just had a baby shower a year ago, and I invited all of his family, including aunts, cousin's great aunts and second cousins from out of town. Some came some didn't, and most of them don't even really know me.

I am not sure if I should just use the same list.... or if I should limit it to just those people from his family that I actually know personally to some extent and those that live in town.

He just says use the same list because it's easier, but I am not sure if that is the right thing to do.I am not concerned about gifts at all and I don't want to come across as inviting everyone just to get gifts...

... but I don't want to leave the wrong people out.

The answer to this can make the difference between having it at someone's house and having it somewhere else!

Speaking to a co-worker the other day, the subject of music came up, and we discussed what bands we listen to, to see if we have any in common. I then showed this person my artist list in my MP3 player - to which they proceeded to say that "I don't judge people by the music they listen to".....

They then find out that Fall Out Boy is my favorite band, and makes a statement of "People who listen to music like Fall Out Boy are losers"....

Would they be deemed to be hypocritical, due to the fact that they first state "They don't judge people by what music they listen to" - then afterwards, make a statement how if people listen to a certain genre of music, then they are "losers/posers"?

"Oh look, here's the Blue Jigglers coming our way" - is that funny or disrespectful? (meaning that she has jiggly b**bs inside her shirt). It's not said to her face, just between us.

I think it's funny, no harm done.
What do you think?

Okay, my female roommate is nagging me about this. I'm a guy. Couple months ago, we went to whole foods and she got 2 bags of groceries and I got 1 bag of groceries. We had to walk back to the bus stop, about 9 blocks and I just carried my bag. She'd like, the man's supposed to carry the woman's stuff! Everybody be driving by and thinking that guy's an asshole cause the woman's carrying two bags and he only has one.

So, I'm like, don't buy anything you can't carry.

I'm noticing more and more (specifically at work), that when I'm talking to someone, a lot of co-workers feel it's alright to grab my listener's attention by just running over my words and to begin talking to the listener. No "excuse me" or "I'm sorry to interrupt but...." And even worse, my listener's attention immediately snaps to the interrupter. Sometimes I notice that what I'm being interrupted with is more important than what I'm saying, but even then, I should be respected. Most times, I just stop talking and become forgotten. This embarrasses me and makes me feel like no one has respect for me. I have no problem speaking my mind, I'm just stumped on how to handle this assertively, being firm but polite.

Ok, I work in a large corporate office building with ample bathrooms for all its employees. However, my issue is this. Those that do not FLUSH the toilets. Bathrooms are already quite disgusting, is there a reason why the toilet cannot be flushed? Oh..you don't want to touch the handle..ok well use your foot then...oh..your barefoot...ok...well then touching the handle is the least of your problems if your barefoot in a public restroom.

We let this cousin of ours set up his FEMA camper in our yard after Hurricane Katrina. It has been coming up on 2 years and he makes no move to go find an apartment. He just sits out there on his wide as-s and now has a sullen attitude toward us. What would you do to get him out of your yard? What a damned freeloader!

seriously guys, lets be mature here. instead of reporting somebody and getting them suspended, just give em the thumbs down so you don't have to look at it anymore and leave it at that.

i'm sick of people reporting every little thing..

I was in a public restroom today and I saw a 10 year old boy with his mother in the women's room. I was going to say something, but I kept my mouth shut, in understanding that the child may have a problem (although I dont think that was the case). How old is too old for a boy to go into the ladies room and a girl to go into the men's room?

There's a supervisor at work who's an asshole and everyone knows he's one. He's one of these who lives for his job, and thinks he is more clever than he actually is. He comes in to work at 6am every morning to do overtime, and he does nothing but sit in his office and pretend to do some typing on his computer. A lot of the time He sits back in his chair with his hands behind his head, while we are all working hard. The worst thing about him is that he's phoney and spitefull; He'll be all nice to me in my face but he makes fun at people when their backs are turned. He also tries to intimidate me for no reason. I've done nothing to ever upset him, all I do is come to work, mind my own business and work all day, but he's got this way of trying to intimidate me; I've caught him countless times staring at me through his office window with a smirk on his face, I came to work this morning and something had been written with a marker on my locker (and I saw him smirking when I went to my locke

I know I am a pretty girl and I have nice feet but this is frigging ridiculous!! Twice this week i caught a guy staring at my toes in flip flops. I mean, yeah, they can look. Whatever. But I mean, I thought guys would be staring more at my butt or my breasts.

Here is a picture of my feet here below.

Cut and paste the link and tell me if they are worth staring at. Mine are the one in the middle with the toe ring. I'm 18 BTW.

I just may never understand guys!

People are asking me if I will be doing a registry for my daughter's first birthday party. Like at Babies R Us, Target, and Walmart. Shouldnt I just let people pick what they want as gifts?

When your hair dresser works from home, do you still tip him/her?

When my hairdresser worked in a shop, I always tipped her, but now she does hair from home in her spare time, so she sets her own prices and doesn't have to pay anyone rent. Do I still tip her?

I frequently stay in motels (cheap ones, like Motel 6). My parents taught me to leave a dollar or two as a tip for the maid when I leave ($1 or $2 for each night, leaving it all at once when I leave). However, no one else I've asked has ever done this. Am I wasting my money, or am I supposed to leave a small tip?

So, my friends loves to debate with people. She has her own set of opinions and that's fine, but she never backs down. The problem is that she'll pick the most deeply held beliefs someone has and attack them. For example, we have a friend who is deeply religious and she constantly starts an argument with her about why there is no God or how we are all going to hell if there is one. Anyways, she's lost a lot of friends this way. I would like to tell her, but I have feeling we'll get into another debate. What would you do?

My boss's birthday is on July 4th. She is the worst person in the world. If you've ever seen Devil Wears Prada, she is like the character of Meryl Streep, except my boss is 10 times worse than her and my boss have no fashion sense whatsoever. My boss is cheap, mean, ugly and overall not a good person. Am I still obligated to get her a gift or a card? The last two years I've been her assistant, she's never given me anything for my birthday. I've never even had a raise. She's made me cry several times when she yells and makes me feel stupid. Most times I come home depressed.
