It's soo weird!!!! Whenever I laugh, people just HAVE to make a comment about it. >.< Like, "Why don't you let out your laugh?" or "Why do you hide it?" I'm just like, whatever, who cares how I laugh, but I wonder, is there something I'm doing wrong?? =[

Its a personal opinion but why do people insist on sending, ad nauseum, (till youre sick) these cain emails that go along the lines of
"reply to this email and forward it to 100 people within 1 hour - someone somewhere told their uncle that a friend of their brothers girlfriend heard that someone sent it on and won the lottery!! - if you dont send it to AT LEAST 50 people youll catch leprosy next time you open an email and die a slow and lonely death"

I mean, really, what is the point?!? if you are so desperate for contact i put it to you that spamming that trite to everyone in your address book is very likley to result in even fewer friends willing to talk to you...
perhaps im just an old man that has no concept of whats hip and trendy... so hopefully someone can explain to me why on earth people persist in sending such tripe to everyone?

that people use genetics as an excuse to be fat. 50 years ago, obesity was almost unheard of. Now it's half the population. I read a statistic that 30% of Americans eat McDonalds every day. Thats just McDonalds. That statistic doesn't include all the other fast food resturaunts. Until fast food joints start going out of business because of lack of customers, I'm not going to believe the genetics theory.

I don't know what to do! I've tried (1) Putting our parted lips together, and letting our tongues just move against each other in circles. (2) Opening and closing our mouths against each others lips, everytime our mouths open the tip of our tongues would brush and when our mouths close our tongues would retreat back inside our mouth (I personally don't think this feels as nice as number 1). Are these common ways that boys like to be kissed? What are some other ways? Details please! I never had a steady boyfriend, just some hookups (non slutty ones!).

If a person says "If fried chicken gets banned from the United States people will riot in the streets" and people will be complaining that it is a racist remark. Now this has happened before where a person makes a remark and gives no implication of race, color, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, physical/mental disabilities but is still called prejudice, racist and bigot. Now who is the racist the one who made the remark or the ones who connected a group to it and calls the person racist?

My dear cousin was visiting this weekend, and after he left, we noticed that "someone" had flipped over the toilet paper rolls in two bathrooms so that the paper was under, rather than over.

When I discovered the situation in the main downstairs restroom, I figured my husband or I hadn't paid attention, because we've always been partial to the "over the top" strategy. But when I saw it in the guest restroom as well, I realized that my cousin must have felt strongly about this, and flipped them both over!

So what do you think - is there a "correct" way to place the toilet paper roll, and if so, which way is it and why? And secondly, do you feel strongly enough about this that you'd go to the trouble of "correcting" it if you saw it the "wrong" way in someone else's home?

I signed up for IPF (International Pen Friends) for my birthday. I really wanted to have a foreign pen friend to exchange letters with, it sounded fun. Well, shame on me, I didn't read everything right, and I thought what would happen is that they would send me someone's address and send them mine, and we'd be set. What actually happens is that they send 7 people my address and information and send me 7 OTHER people's addresses and information, and you start to get letters. Well. I don't have the time nor the money to be sending 14 people letters all the time, but I really don't want to have to write to someone and say, "I don't want to exchange letters with you anymore," or anything of the sort. It sounds so heartless! And of course, it's nothing they've done. What should I do? Just find my pen friend and let the others trail off? That seems so irresponsible.

I was staying with my brother sleeping on the couch and his roommate comes into the living room sleepwalking naked sporting an erection, no joke! He sat down next to me stared at the TV and started to jerk off. I was totally shocked.

My dad is a sleepwalker, so I saw the look in his guy's eyes that you can't fake. We were told by my dad's doctor to either just lead him to bed if he is walking or if he is doing a task that help him finish it because he will contine to sleepwalk until he feels the task is done.( we were told of cases of people driving, bathing, having sex and even murder while sleepwalking. all totally unaware of it) He also said ever wake him as that can be utterly terrifying for the sleepwalker.

I froze staring like a deer in head lights. Before I knew it he climaxed and got up and walked back to bed. My brother said he never noticed it before. They have only been roommates for a few months.

What should I have done? Whould you have stared to?

What is it with people and getting mad at ME because they think prices are too high? I agree they're high, but I can't control that, I just work there. Not just that, but people get pissed off for a bunch of reason that I can't change. For example, I can't give refunds, and people will YELL at me because they want a refund. It's not that I don't want to, it's that I literally have NO WAY of giving refunds. There is no program or process that I can use in my computer to give a refund. People get mad about the long hold time, the extra charges, EVERYTHING. One guy called & was mad that his tickets hadn't arrived by mail yet, so I said that if he didn't recieve the tickets in the mail 48 hrs before the event that we would put them at the box office for him to pick up. well he got so mad & was SHRIEKING at me and called me a moron and an idiot. So, WHY do people, who I'm sure are polite in person, behave like that over the phone? And have you ever called and acted like that and why?

Am I correct that in the "old days" (like a generation ago) there were very few bachelorette parties and that the female version of the bachelor party was the bridal shower?

When I was growing up, that's what I thought: men have bachelor parties, and women have bridal showers. Then, in the late 80s and into the 90s came the advent of the bachelorette party.

Also, is it now common for women to have both a bachelorette party and a bridal shower? And if so, do you girls have to buy gifts for both occasions?

I haven't seen my cousins for 20-30 years but, I have great memories of visiting them as a kid. Also, my mom (Aunts sister) keeps me up-to-date on what's going on with my cousins. I am far away in a different state and can not go to the funeral (as much as I wish I could). Has getting a condolence card or note from a long lost cousin helped anyone out there with a loss like this? Thanks for your input.

My friend keeps saying "for" instead of so! Otherwise, he has great grammar. I cannot understand why or how this keeps happening. It drives him crazy also! Suggestions are welcome?

I've been working in a small company for about 5 months now. When I just started the place was a mess. I put a lot of effort to put everything in order, organised decent filing system, revised all the accounts. I did a lot of advertising as well, as the company wasn't doing very well. Everything was done while the owner (managing director) was away, he didn't give a damn about anything. Now he is back and he is shouting at me all the time about all the trivial things. It doesn't matter to him that thanks to me we managed to at least cover the bills. He is finding faults with everything, and doesn't choose his words. While he was away, I had to take some matters into my hands, as the company was in the red. Now he is saying that "I don't bloody own the company, and that I am making some stupid decisions". It makes me very upset.
And by the way, he is from an arabic country, I don't know if makes any difference.

Some are here...Some are there...witha Vacation in the middle...
I work at the grocery store and this old lady keeps asking "When are you going to get your front teeth?"
I tell her that I had a partial but it didn't fit anymore and I am not replacing it!
Basically...Leave me alone!
So this week, she came back & asked if I had finished my dental work...like I ran out to get teeth FOR HER!
I told her that I'm beautiful even without teeth. You barely see my upper teeth. People tell me all the time they didn't notice until I gave them my $2 smile. (I also call summer teeth a $2 smile because the tooth fairy would leave $1 per tooth!)
Anyway, the old lady said there is NO WAY I can be beautiful unless I had my teeth.
I said my daughter has cancer & is BALD...and I would never tell her she wasn't beautiful.
Then the lady said "Well I'll just stop giving you compliments!" Like telling me I look bad without my teeth qualifies as compliments.
So my question is WHAT PASSES FOR MANNERS??
