I'm in showchoir at school. We had really cute dresses that I absolutely loved. Since showchoir season is now over, we won't ever be wearing them again. A girl from my church loved the dresses. Thinking I wouldn't mind, my mom gave mine to her without asking me first. The girl is absolutely thrilled. I know I don't need it again, but it was my dress and I want it back. Would it be rude to ask the girl for it back and explain I had no say-so in the matter?

My friend informed me that the Mocha Frappuccino I had just ordered from the Starbucks barista was, in fact, a chick drink. Needless to say I was appalled. I became paraniod that every person who looked at me delicately stirring/sipping my delicious frapp was silently judging my manhood, thinking to themselves "Wow, that guy is really girly".

I'm insecure enough as it is without people thinking at I was some kind of effeminate metrosexual, seeing as we live in a culture that judges persons by physical attributes, and mine happen to happen to bro be wholly unimpressive.

So please, I beg of you, share you knowledge of this particular
beverage with me, and what sex it is intended for.

I'm sending a mailing out to appx. 200 business owners. Not all of my contacts are business owners. I will not have time to mail merge and match up name to name, and am unsure about the general greeting to use in this situation. My coworker proposed, "To Whom It May Concern", but the address information on the envelope will include a c/o name. Suggestions?!

I was recently talking to a friend that said people treat her poorly because of her accent, and at parties they tend to cut her off and walk away. Do you do this? Why do you think people are rude?

I am a groomsmen in a wedding coming up. I am on the fence if I should go stag or bring a date as the bride would prefer. I could really care less either way. If anyone has any feedback I am open to it.

Do you do it? Why do people flush 4-5 times just to cover up the sound of a fart? It's a bathroom...what kind of noises do you think are going to be made in there? I think it's ridiculous.

He was a very close friend of mine and my husband's. My husband wanted to kiss him on the forehead. I told him it might not be a good idea, he might mess up the paint job (Not to mention it's creepy). What are your thoughts?

Where our offices is located now, there used to be a Beauty School, and we've been here for 2 yrs now, and people keep walking in and asking what happend to the beauty school? if we know where they moved to and so forth. We don't know, and don't care. Would it be rude if I posted a sign that said "NO, WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT HAPPEND TO THE BEAUTY SCHOOL, AND DON'T KNOW WHERE THEY MOVED TOO. AND NO, THIS IS NOT A DOCTOR'S/DENTIST OFFICE!"

Have you taken your kids to places that are now completely non-smoking that you didn't before when smoking was allowed?

To those who think the smoking ban ruins business check out this web-site http://smokefreeohio.org/oh/about/documents/SFOEconomicImpact.pdf)

They never say howdy, good morning, how is your day going, how have you been, let me get that door for you, have a great day, or anything else nice to other people when they see them?

That is pretty rude isn't it? If you smile or say good morning to someone in New York City or Boston they would look at you weird and say "What's it to ya." or blah blah blah.

We had a discussion at work about what occasions it would be okay to send e-cards. I said its all right for birthdays and a thank you for a gift, but something like sympathy - you should go with a traditional mailed card. I was surprised at how many co-workers said that e-cards are never appropriate; that it's a thoughtless and cheapo easy way out. Personally, I think e-cards are great. I like getting them. Anyone else have any opinions?

My boyfriend loves his uncle, dont get me wrong there is nothing wrong with that. But when he gets around his uncle then he gets this mocho,"you do as i tell you to" type of attitude. I get mad about it so it makes me not want to go around his family or talk to him while he is around his family. Me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 years. Also when we go over to his uncles well he leaves me all alone sometimes, and im not gonna lie, it makes me mad. I wouldnt call it jealousy but maybe it is. I dunno but am i being sellfish, if so what do i do.

I made a rude remark before I left and she wanted to talk it out but I was already late for work and had to leave. I tried saying I was sorry and kissing her before I left but she pushed me away. I'm tred of the lack of respect she has for me and when I spoke to her about it the other night I said I wish you could be nicer she said I can't be that's just the way I am. I have to call her right now what should I say?
