In fact everyone can make an infectious smile,and make other smile or even laugh., Just go to a spot where people are busy about their things, any crowded place.make your infectious smile ,so that one and all happen to see you. shortly ,you will get the response --- all will start laughing at you !!! u r lucky to hav an infectious smile.yes all the answers u hav got are fully correct.it means yr smile is so pretty and genuine that others forget what they were thinking or doing and without any deliberate or conscious effort, start smiling with u.

when someone smiled at me today, I started smiling too.
I passed around the corner and someone saw me grin, and when he smiled I realised I passed it onto him.
I thought about that smile and realised it's true worth.

Things that are infectious 'spread'...from person to person as the carrier comes in contact.
This is a delightful bit of word play pairing the rarely sought after quality of diseases to spread...with the love thought that a smile can do the same.
It's a great compliment, and from the way you asked...I can almost see it...and I'm smiling already...wow...you can even do it over the net...must be a virus ;)

It's a 'genuine' smile. That is one in which the whole face joins in. That sounds daft but I expect you understand.
It's where the smiler exudes a real sense of pleasure and there is not a hint of 'forced' about it. The body language pays a huge part in this and the viewer, or recipient, is probably quite unaware, conciously, of that element but it certainly contributes.

It means you have a smile that makes others want to smile. Unfortunately you're always going to come across that one sour-puss who isn't happy unless he/she is miserable, so not everyone who crosses your path will smile when they see you smile, but that's not your problem -- it's theirs.
