My friend informed me that the Mocha Frappuccino I had just ordered from the Starbucks barista was, in fact, a chick drink. Needless to say I was appalled. I became paraniod that every person who looked at me delicately stirring/sipping my delicious frapp was silently judging my manhood, thinking to themselves "Wow, that guy is really girly".
I'm insecure enough as it is without people thinking at I was some kind of effeminate metrosexual, seeing as we live in a culture that judges persons by physical attributes, and mine happen to happen to bro be wholly unimpressive.
So please, I beg of you, share you knowledge of this particular
beverage with me, and what sex it is intended for.

Man - those are really good.
I'm a hetero guy and I have NO fear of ordering anything I want.
Have you seen the Rav4 commercial where the guy is driving the Rav4 and his friends say that the Rav4 is a chick car? Well, after 3 chicks get in the car with him, he says that guesses it is a chick car.
You can sip your Mocha Frappuccino with the ladies while your buddy hangs out with the rest of the bad breathed "black coffee" snobs.
If you like it - order it with no shame.

LOL, I hope the tone you used was supposed to be light-hearted and funny.
If you are serious, please, get over yourself. Drink whatever the heck you want!
I drink the Caramel Frapps and my hubby likes the whipped cream plus a sip or two. I've never thought of Frappuccinos being just for girls. They are just good!

It is a unisex drink, I have served it up to sorority girls to bull riding cowboys. (Starbucks is a part time gig for me.) It is all a matter of what you like to drink. If you want to make it appear more manly than have them add a shot to the drink or even better have the shot added on top.

We buy then by the case. For every 1 of those I drink my wife drinks about 8. She likes them a *lot*. I like them OK, but not as much as she does.
Whatever you want to "read" into that -- be my guest.
I never thought of them as a chick-drink (until now). That won't stop me from enjoying them, though. I just prefer hot latte's more then cold espresso drinks (we have, and use, our own espresso machine).

There is no such thing as a Girl Drink. Granted, some fruity cocktail drinks I find funny, so I don't even drink them, and I'm a girl, but I see men drink them all the time.
Since when is coffee just a girl's drink? Drink up honey!

Do not despair Mr. Cube.
Compared to the guys I see knitting on the subway, you're coming off very macho. Drink what you want, just stay away from the knitting needles.

I know many men who enjoy mocha fraps, and would not consider them a girly drink. Your friend is being silly, drink what you enjoy
I know plenty of men who enjoy frozen drinks with umbrellas in them. Life is too short to waste drinking things you don't like, isn't it? Be yourself - confidence is VERY attractive :-)

My boyfriend drinks it, and he's totally manly. It's not exactly the manliest drink, I guess (what is? like whiskey?), but I've seen guys drinking frappuccinos and didn't think twice.
