I'm moving into my new home about two mouths from now and i need to know what kind of items should i ask my friends to bring me. If you have to leave dirt comments don't leave one at all.

This is not the way it works, honey. If your friends decide to give you housewarming gifts, that's one thing, but you don't go around begging. And if you can't afford the things you need, do without until you can.

I understand what you are referring to. You know as well as these other dolts that it is customary to hold a "house warming party" for you friends so they can come and see your new digs.

And like birthday parties it is pretty much old news that the invited usually bring a gift.

Now why you don't know what you need/want is curious but I am assuming you are asking what to tell your guests who ask what you would like, so you don't insult them or make yourself look bad by asking for something too expensive or the like. correct?

Just send your friends invites to visit your new house, when asked if they can bring a gift and you choose to say it's just important that you show, but they insist then you say that you plan to decorate your house this way or that and that you trust their good taste.

It's rude to ASK for gifts!!! I'd be more concerned about your lack of proper speach!
