I deal with many "personalities" in a day, so why is it that people have to be so rude when you ask them if you need help or if you say hello to them or just don't answer you at all? Why is it they can't watch their children while they are causing demolition to the products and display items? Do they think we are their personal shoppers or babysitters? Why do they feel the need to drop the food they are eating on the floor and not be nice enough to pick it up? I am not a maid. The last time I checked, I put my pants on the same way they do. I would just love one day to say what I feel to the rotten so and sos of the world. Wouldn't you? THOSE OF YOU WHO TREAT RETAIL PERSONS POORLY(AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) WHY NOT TRY TO BE NICE FOR ONCE?

My husband and I are taking our 17 month old daughter to a catholic funeral. What is appropriate to put her in? Should she wear black? A dress? Or should I just stick to something comfortable for her, because she's going to be forced to sit for so long? Any suggestions here would be great, thank you.

My Mother just came home for a Parent Teacher Conference. And I instead of It being about academics they decided they would try to be psychologists! Instead of talking about how I could improve my marks they made comments like "She never smiles", "She has a flat facial expression ever in the hallways" "I'm worried if shes happy" "Is she stressed?" WHAT THE HELL IS THIS! Why are they trying to worry my Mother! It is NONE and I mean NONE of there goddamn business. What were they trying to prove saying this? They might of well said "What the **** is wrong with your kid! Shes a freak!" I'm extremely mad that they were trying to worry my Mother about this. Yeah I'm stressed, but usually I'm in an OK mood, just because I'm not smiling on the outside doesn't mean I'm not smiling on the inside. I want to confront my teachers about this but I'm unsure about how. Do you think they were out of order? Because I sure as hell do!

I hear a lot of cursing and see a lot of common street behavior (i.e., loud and crude).

We were taught manners, to be polite and speak softly when in public.

I think that's so rude. When I call somewhere and I have the wrong number I always at least say something like "oh I'm sorry. I think have have the wrong number:. But no, some idiots have no manners and hang up as soon as I say hello. I have a really bad temper and one of these days I'm going to snap and call the fothermuckers back and say something really mean to them.

Do you believe it's ever morally acceptable to seek revenge for it's own sake? If someone did you wrong would you try to make them pay for it?

I have a friend who interrups people all the time, and just says whatever is on her mind in the moment, even if it has nothing to do with what others are talking about. (Like the ramdom thoughts that always go on in your mind all the time, but she says them out loud). She never lets you finish a thought before shoting her opinion at you. All she ever talks about is her parents or ex-boyfriend, and compairs everything to her experience with them. I was talking to my friend Ann by her car yesterday about something going on in my life, and wanted her opinion, becasue she is older, and Rude girl pops out of nowhere and throws in her to sence, which we have all heard a million times, totally interupting our conversation. She also talks SO LOUD. She is aware that she does these things, and anytime anyone says anything, she gets defensive and hurt. my question is, how do you explain, or show her that these is not a way to act in the world in a kind way???

I've been with my boyfriend for three months. So far he hate being in any place where there's lot of people such as bar, pub, club, party, etc... I've tried to take him to few parties that my friends host but he usually end up leave in less half a hour.

He's also aloof toward most people. I'd try to introduce him to people, he would just nods and smile abit and say "nice to meet you" before walk off.

People have told me that he's very difficult to approach and he usually look pissed off, aloof, or just plainly unapproachable.

He also doesn't really have very many friends at all and if he was to get together with friends, they usually are small group and go out for coffee or go rock climbing or jet ski.

He have met my parents and they absolutely LOVE him, especially my father. They talk a lot about everything!

I don't understand why he's like this? He only seems to open up to certain people and hate being in any socialing place. What's up with this?

I'm not trying to sound gross or anything (and no idiots allowed to answer this ok? ) But why do people say "Who's your daddy?" during sex? >.< It's just....wierd.

And while I'm at it, why do (for some reason) after sex, someone starts smoking?

My whole life as an anglophone, I have been brought up to hate Quebec. As an adult, I have been thinking that Quebec has the right idea. They are standing up for what they believe in and making it clear to immigrants that they won't change their laws to accomidate them. If more crying immigrants move here to Ontario and change everything and make it as bad as their countries (if their countries were as good as ours, wouldn't they stay there? They like our country because of what we have, but by changing things, they are just making it like their own countries, which apparently didn't work because they would still be there.) If Quebec keeps standing up to immigrants, I will be packing up my stuff and moving there, along with anybody else who wants to keep our country Canada.

I'm way too stupid to be a Mensa member & just wonder what's the point of being so smart to help other smartasses instead of helping the less intelligent? It seems logical that MENSA would have a couple hunerd websites to perpetuate assistance to non-members to make a better society & increase their numbers.
There can't be much use for intelligence, huh?!
Can somebody let me know?! Tanx!
