My husband's sister-in-law has a daughter from a previous marriage who is now pregnant. I told her if she ever got pregnant I would love to throw her a shower! I figured it would be a shower with my husband's side of the family, however, my husband's two sisters are already planning a shower. SO, now I am hosting a friend/co-worker shower for the Mom-to-be.

I am now wondering, is it acceptable for me not to attend the shower that will be given by my husband's sisters since I will be hosting a shower myself?

In all of this excitement with broken dishes, bloody noses, and police officers showing up, what are the chances that the waiter or waitress would forget that you still haven't paid for your dinner?

Or would they let you get away with it since it's quite likely that you can't get your wallet or card out while wearing handcuffs anyways?

Would her majesty complain about the smell? Should I get them dry cleaned and then wash the wigs?

Okay, there's this girl who sits in front of me in class and the thing is, she smells horrible. Is there a way to tell her to take a shower without being rude? I've also seen some other hygienic issues with her-i've seen her pick her nose and eat it, flake her dandruff on a desk and play with it, and various other things. I think she only showers once a week because her hair gets dirtier and dirtier as the week goes by and i can't stand breathing in her stink and maybe even her dandruff. am i just being obsessive compulsive?

Ok, so usually when I go out to dinner with my family and we walk into a restaurant (usually the bar area first) everyone starts staring! As soon as you walk in, and then you can feel people's continuous stares as you find a seat or whatever. I find it really annoying. Does anyone else get this? And what do you do?

Oh and the restaurant is a hotel, so I usually sit in the reception area on my own after, it's very empty around there. But whenever people walk in, they stare again! They are just walking past staring at me, and the kids as well. I just feel like sticking my tongue out at them. What should I do?

My boyfriend and I have been togetther for almost 4 years now and we have a great relationship. However, he has a massive collection of internet porn and pictures. (6 CD's worth) The majority of it doesn't really bother me, but he has some strange stuff, like older women (Really older women), stuff with wierd objects in un-natural places, etc. He says he's not turned on by the weird stuff. He says it's just funny. I would really like a few guy's opinions on this one. Is he normal?!? It's really bothering me!!

At Xmas it is usually Silent night, but all all times of the year, it could be "summer time" or "swanee river" or "home on the range". I would be happy if I had a wife who sang when she yawned. But there is no pleasing him!

There is this professor at my college that just be littles everyone. He will say stuff when he is handing out tests like wow you will need all the luck in the world. He makes fun of christians all the time. On ash wedsday he said no intellgent person would have crap in the shape of a cross on their forehead. Im not religous either but I do not go and make fun of them because they dont believe in evolution. I know he thinks Im stupid because I do not want to be a premed major instead Im going into enviromental biology. I have no intrest in being a fricken doctor. He even belittles other professors.

So what I want to do is after I get my diplomea I want to say hey how does it feel to have an idiot pass your bio classes and get a degree? Should I say anuthing else or just let it be?

Having been invited to a party where people stumble in with shiny boots, crroked bowties, sleek wine bottles and fingers covered with Band-Aid from badly arranged roses I decided to do the same. I pulled into the liquor store driveway in a new neighborhood and grabbed two bottles that looked exorbitantly priced but were excruciatingly cheap. The other bottle was for me and another dude in the car. So I go to the counter gal, set down the bottles and the change and ask her for a "cork puller".
She looked aghast, and muttered "excuse me?". I said "can I have a cork puller." She looked apoplectic and said "I will call the cops if you dont leave right now." I said "sure, if they want to help me open the bottle." The police soon came over and it was a female sergant. She asked what I wanted. I repeated "cork puller." Soon there were six patrol cars on site and I was finally let go after a Lieutanant who drinks regularly understood what I was saying. What should I tell the clerk next time?

And then you see your friend walking the opposite way towards you from far away like a block and they catch your eye as well..this could also be a person you aren't very close with but you normally greet them and would be exited to see them etc.
okay, my question is, are you supposed to:

a) pretend you didn't see them to make it not as awkward until you guys cross and then you're all like "OMG HI!"

b) stare at them and smile the whole entire time, and wave until you cross them and then you hug them and stuff

c) pretend you didn't see them and then cross the street so you don't have to say hi

d) scream, "HI!!!" and run up to them as fast as you can

e) different answer, please explain.

I recently had a surgical procedure done and I want to do something to show my appreciation to the medical staff. This includes the doctor, the nurses, the receptionist, and the counselor. All of whom I had to encounter leading up to and during the surgery which comes to about 10 - 15 people. The process was long and tedious and I just want to thank them for their hard work and patience with me all the way through. I have been thinking of gift ideas and or gestures to express my gratitude. What are some things I can think of? The more frugal the better. I did just spend a good grip on the surgery. Thanks in advance.

I'm writing a letter to my Nan. I used to write to her monthly and phone her once a week. I haven't spoken to her for about 8 months as I've been suffering from severe depression. I'm feeling a little better and want to write her a letter, but I don't know how to start. Do I apologise for leaving it so long or not mention it? I don't know if my dad has mentioned to her about me being ill. Any advice most welcome!
