I think that's so rude. When I call somewhere and I have the wrong number I always at least say something like "oh I'm sorry. I think have have the wrong number:. But no, some idiots have no manners and hang up as soon as I say hello. I have a really bad temper and one of these days I'm going to snap and call the fothermuckers back and say something really mean to them.

I know what you mean,as soon as I hear there voice I know I have the wrong number and I say sorry I have the wrong number.But when someone calls me in the same situation the don't say anything,just hang up. grr

That is very rude, I always say, "Sorry, I have the wrong number." They are probably just embarrassed and also have no manners. Don't sink down to their level, just let it off your back. I know it's so tempting! Just think it could accidently be a child or an elderly person calling.

I think cause they are embarrassed that they dialed the wrong number in the first place. I rarely get hang ups. I do get a lot of those ones from 1-800 numbers and there is no one there.

Ha ha. I know what you mean. I do the same as you, and it infuriates me when somebody just hangs up after they've dialled a wrong number.
Some people just don't have manners. All those beatings I got as a kid seem to have worked.

It is rude of them to hang up without saying Sorry.
When someone does that to me I don't let it bother me.
If I'm the one calling the wrong number I say "I'm sorry. I've got the wrong number."

It is rude but usually when they hear a voice they dont reconize they probably feel stuiped and hang up. Why they cant say sorry hmm maybe short on time,patients or just have no sense of what decent manners are. I feel your pain.

I get that alot at work, not much at home, and when I do call the wrong number and no one answers and they call back, I apologize to them stating I dialed the wrong number.
