There's a story behind this. I have a son who goes to high school. I get a call from the guidance office, saying that he slapped some girl pretty hard. I went down to the school and picked him up and asked him why he did it. He said that the girl had punched him in the balls really hard and then gloated about it after. So everybody is treating him like the villan, yet I can see exactly why he would do such a thing. In a situation like this, is the course of action he took appropriate?

Here's the thing: My upstairs neighbor has 4 kids, and they just moved in upstairs above me and I understand that there's going to be noise, but I mean I hear their every waking movement! It's like they have no regard for someone living below them, and it's as if they're dropping canned goods every 30 seconds! We've never formally met, but I'm afraid to go introduce myself at this point because they are pissing me off, and I could come off WAY wrong!

Why on earth do some people yell and scream and swear at customer service people when the customer service people can't do anything about the problem and are not responsible for it? For instance: a woman came to my desk and was angry about not being able to get in the front door of where I work. Well, it was 9:00 at night. After a certain time, the front and side doors automatically lock. The entrance by me is the only one unlocked. What did that lady expect, for us to deactivate our entire security system just for her convenience? Why are some customers so unreasonable?

I deeply regret what I said to him. He said he was going to do something and he never did and so I wrote him a mean email and now I regret saying what I did. I actually told him that he was the king of unreliability and I told him he didn't have any integrity (ouch ouch ouch). I really like this guy and I didn't mean to hurt his feelings, but I was so upset that he didn't even call to apologize for not following up with me that, in anger, I went in for the kill. I feel like a horrible person and now he rightfully isn't speaking to me anymore (not returning my calls). If you were in his shoes, what could I say to make you believe I'm really sorry? I don't think a relationship is possible at this point and so I want him to know I don't expect him to "take me back" but I would like to take a stab at clearing the air and I hope to get at least a friendship out of it (but I know that's a stretch). Thanks.

my twin sister died 4 years ago and i attended her funeral. i was miserable.ive never cried so much in my life. and i have had alot of mental problems since then because of loosing her. it seemed to me that the funeral only increased the pain, it did nothing to make me feel any better about the loss of my beloved sister.now my favorite cousin has died.my mental state is awfull but im dealing with my pain and grief in my own way.i really think this funeral will only magnify the pain.i dont think it will help my mental state but in fact bring on more mental anguish.i dont want to go to this funeral,as i dont want to deal with this at all im afraid it will send me over the edge like last time ,make it worse like last time.i loved jason so much ,he was my very favorite cousin i saw like once a year.my family pushed back the fune.date cause i left from home for a couple days thinking i could avoid this.is it wrong of me to not attend or to not want to attend?family will be mad if i dont.

listen to me i need not to justify myself to you or anyone else. as far as i can see i'm being misunderstood by other people and i do not want to leave it like that. that's just me. if you have nothing good to say say nothing at all. do not come to my question answering it with you fowl language. with your rude *** mouth. do not do that. from i have been on this i have never disrespected anyone and i do not see why you found it necesary to come and disrespect me. if you dont care for what i have to say or if you do not want to read what i have to say then don't. i have nothing at all against you. and i will not leave this until people get what i am trying to say.that's just how i am and i will not change myself.you need not have to read what i have to say if you don't want to. please try not to disrespect me that is the last thing i want at this moment. that is all i ahve to say. and frankly i do not care what anyone else has to say if they are going to write something what you did.

I've read some really good answers on here and I think I've given some decent answers too. But every good answer still has at least one thumbs down. Which leads me to believe some people must give every answer a thumbs down without even reading them.

My roommate is going on tour with his band for about a month and a half. He's done this before and in the past, and that time, I had agreed to charge him half the rent while he was away and nothing for utilities because he wouldn't be using them (obviously). This year, I have a LOT less money and I cannot afford to cover any of his rent while he is away. I'm angry because I don't ever have enough money to go on vacation and now I feel like I now have to pay for his. The easy solution to this would be to find someone to sublet his bedroom for the time he is away so that someone else can pay his rent. The problem is he's an idiot and I do NOT trust him at all to find a decent person to live with me while he's away. I also do not feel like it's my responsibility to find someone to sublet his room for him. My question is, is it now my responsibility to find someone to cover his rent because I do not trust him to do it himself?

Thanks
