Yo keep the babies home...hire a babysitter or your grandma...too many strollers--especially in the outer boroughs. Call me insensitive--but if I attract haters, the more the better.

When I lived in Manhattan, I dreaded the subway cars filled with baby strollers, but some families have no other alternative than to transport their small children who cannot walk in the city all day via stroller. As inconvenient as it is for the rest of us, it's an area where we need to show some compassion. Now strollers on the buses are really annoying!

I live in a midwestern city that has no subways, but we do have a mass transit system of buses. I've seen people bring strollers on the bus. Yesterday, I rode the bus, which I rarely do, because my car was in the shop. A couple got on with two babies, one an infant, and the other about two years old. They also brought in a baby carriage, a carrier for the infant, two huge plastic bags of clothing and food articles. The man carried the two-year-old by the collar of the kid's snowsuit, and the woman juggled the baby in the carrier, and the two plastic bags. The man had to step down and bring in the huge baby buggy. Then the bus driver had to tell them to move to another section of the bus, because a man in a wheelchair was getting on. I felt sorry for the couple, who didn't look older than 17, and wondered why on earth they were carting two babies and all the paraphernalia with them, but apparently they couldn't find a sitter, and couldn't leave those youngsters at home. But I'm with you -- I never took my kids anywhere on buses until they could walk and behave themselves.

Isn't it wonderful how someone else's life can make yours so horrible.
Call your local government and have a law made.
That will fix these parents who want to bring their children outside in the world.
