My female friend has a bestfriend that is an asian male. Well the rest of the group always gives her presents like asian porn or nude asian pictures as a joke. Is this rude? I told them that they were just friends and I thought the jokes and presents were rude. They disagree and find it funny. Is this rude or am I uptight?

Just curios to what everyone's experience is with those who park in handicap spots who don't look hanicaped. It's 80% the same basic kind of folks that I see. Many have stickers and handicap tags, but are in better shape than I am. I want to know what you think. What is the average, age, gender, race, economic make up of those you see who abuse the system.
Thanks

I have been accused of forgetting things too often and I have no way to gaurd against forgetting. Leaving messages can only partly help, until they also fail to help.

So I ask...

Why do people accuse your of forgetting something in a way that indicates your miss-behaving, when doing so is it's self an human error that cannot be prevented entirely.
What do they think I can do to prevent myself forgetting?

Although we have a responsibility to try and remember, we cannot be held accountable for failing if we have tried our best.
For forgetting means that the act of trying to remember is no longer possible and so it cannot be a form of miss-conduct.

Explain what I must say. Saying "Sorry, I did not mean to forget" is not good enough since doing so leads to people claiming that I am lying.

It is a fundamental impossibility to remember not to forget once you have forgetton to remember 'not foggeting something'.

Do you know?

My friend and I, and my 9 yr old daughter were shopping at the mall yesterday, and the employees at this one store were talking about doing drugs and what they would do for them (stealing, etc.). We went to security and reported them. I see it as this....the company of this store needs to know what kind of employees they have working for them, and these things shouldn't be spoken in front of a child. What do you think? Thank you.

Man what gives a person the right to think there entitled to trash a theatre during and after a movie. These are adults I'M TALKING ABOUT. ok if you think ticket prices give you the right....wrong....
ONLY 9% off box office prices stay with the theatre..so go trash the movies stars homes not the theatre....IF you wanna ***** about concession prices as a reason...well that's the only profit margin of the business... SO if your going to sneak your own alcohlol, popcorn, candy, soda's and or whatever in with you at least get off of your a&* and pick it up when you leave. THERE'S enough problems fighting colds and flu and other airborne germs without having to pick up after some jerk that forgot to bring his nanny or mother to clean up after him iin public. We are not public slaves to your ignorance...WE don't make enough money to have any great health benefits after being exposed to some self indulging pig....I THINK PEOPLE that do clean up as they leave should be commended..! bravo!

Your standing in the line at the movie and some idiot with a cell phone has to talk to some jerk about the weather or the common lack of brains while you wait for them to finish. YOU know what you want. Why don't they just shut up and call back and get out of my way. YOU RUSH UPSTAIRS to beat this jerk to the concession stand cause you well know the same idiot is going to be in line in frony of you again...THEN you get in the movie and this idiot is siting three feet in front of you while the movie is going with his flip phone open and scanning through his messages..IT'S A DARK THEATRE for gods sake where else do you think your eye is going to be drawn except to the asshole with the phone open during a very important part of the movie.. THEN THE JERK GETS A CALL AND HE ANSWERS IT! THE guy should be arrested at this point. I ONCE TOLD A GUY TO GET off his phone and he replied that it was his business.. I SAID THAT'S COOL IF YOUR GOING TO REFUND EVERYONES TICKET BECAUSE YOUR STUPID!

The other day, one friend emailed myself and several other friends about getting together to hang out in a week. I replied to his question, then told everyone on the email list that, by the way, I had just gotten a new job (after several months of unemployment), and was pretty excited about it.

Several people didn't say congratulations or anything at all! I'm a little hurt and a little ticked, especially as these are people I've had over to my place and given two hour rides in my car.

Does anyone think the lack of response was rude, or am I overreacting?

I was at the bank yesterday and I saw a woman with a sticker on her pants that indicated the size of them. It was on the back of her pants so I know she did not notice it. Should I have gone up to her and polietly whispered to her about the tag, or would it have been better to ignore it and hope that when she went home someone would tell her?

My baby girl is 5 months old, I know still too young but I wanted to know when is it a good time to start teaching her about religion. We are Hindu, not overly religious but we do pray at home and do various rituals for the holidays but I don't know if I should send her for formal class(when she's older, at what age???though) or let her pick up tidbits in the home. I learned bits and pieces at home but have always wanted to learn all. My husband was taught yet he never practices what he was taught. He almost rejects all the rituals. I don't want rejection fromher but I also don't want to force her. Just things going on my head ....

We have a cocker spaniel and my girlfriend can groom him ( haircut and bath ) herself which she used to do. However now she is tired of doing it, I would do it but she says I would not be good at it which is most likely correct. So she brings our dog now to Pet Co where they charge $45 dollars to groom him. Keep in mind he goes about every month. I think that is kind of exspensive for something that she could do for free, but anyway after she pays the $45 she leaves a $10 dollar tip! I think that is way too much, I actually dont think she should leave a tip at all considering they are not friendly when she drops him off or picks him up. Should she leave a tip? If so how much? How do you feel about the situation?
