I would let the person know that you do not appreciate their comments, or what ever they are doing to you. Then if they continue, well that is a HR issue and I would file a compliant to the Human Resources and let the the person in HR that you did ask them to quit and they continued.

First off if they are picking on you... Its called harassment. And any harassment in the work place is illegal. Find out if your company has an open door policy. If they do go to management about it. And until you get answer, and closer keep going a step higher from the previous person. It should be something we just deal with in the work force. It makes even harder to be happy in our jobs.

Legally you can say anything that is not discriminatory. I would simply tell the person "I am here to do my job, and seeing as I do not have to answer to you, stay away from me. If you were as busy doing you own work and less concerned about me, then maybe one day, when you grow up, you can be as good as me. Until then, stay out of my face."

It depends on how they are picking on you.

If its too extreme, you can report it to HR and they can be fired. Its called harassment,

If they are verbally abusing you and not excessively, you can take the fun out of it by not being offended by it. Don't respond much.

I appreciate it you would .... will lead to more taunts. You are better to smile and ignore them. IF YOU ARE GOING TO RESPOND. They appropriate response might be "dont you have work to do?"

If they are persisting to the point of preventing you from doing your work, they are not working and you should report it to your boss.

You should have spoken up the first time it happenede, now you have to get the boss involved.
Wait till they do it in front of a reliable witness and then stick up for yourself, if they push the issue take it to the supervisor.

WARNING:
Your work record must outshine theirs, otherwise nothing will happen.

I would probably be sarcastic towards them. If they are picking on you they probably arent that intelligent so witty comments would make them feel stupid when everyone is laughing and they dont understand why

Warn them that they need to quit. If it continues, then go to a supervisor. It's not sexual harassment, but it is harassment.

Talk to the supervisor about it. He/she will take care of it.
