Although I do not avail myself of it often, from time to time I will descend underground and take the rail. It is most times crowded. Disturbingly, I see many people of varied descent who appear QUITE ill. They cough. They wipe their noses. They grab onto the hand rails. I NEVER touch anything on the train, wearing gloves if I have them, or using a handkerchief as a guard against touching any exposed surface. My friend Bitsy says I am being just like Howard Hughes. She doesn't seem at all concerned about germs on the train. She sits down and all I can do is imagine the unspeakable bacteria clinging to her clothes. I won't sit down. I am not a worrier about germs. I have a cleaning woman who comes in 3 times a week, which certainly isn't excessive. I simply do not relish the idea of contracting bird flu from those people who don't fully know about proper hygiene. Do you cover your hands before touching exposed surfaces on the train or bus?

Let's say, your in the room or somewhere together and all of a sudden you feel like someone is watching you and it turn out that it's your crush. You just stare at him/her and he/she stares at you-it feels good-like you're conntecting, but nothing happens, and afterwards you just feel kind of selfconscious or awkward around him/her-and when he/she stares-you can't seem to look him/her in the eye?

Although I don't like to do it, I will occasionally stop somewhere to get a coffee. A Coffee dispenser is on the counter, cups and sugar as well. I make my own coffee. I go to pay and their is a large tip jar on the counter. My philosophy is that if the person behind the counter has to DO something for me, I will tip. I won't tip for a drip coffee and a danish in a bag. If I had plans to sit at a table I would tip. A friend of mine says I am cheap. I say she is wrong. Who is right?

Have you ever had someone just blatantly just stare at you and you felt like they had been starring at you and you looked right at them and all of sudden locked eyes and just felt kind of creepy? And, after you stopped you didn't want to look at them?

ones grave? They were two handmade silk flowers, and pretty too. I put two of them in the vase, and I came the next day and 1 was missing. And then I came the following week, and the second one gone. Someone threw it near a wall far below and crushed it in their hand because it was wrecked. Why would someone do this?

When I interact with people I am kind and polite to them, even if I have to "fake it 'til I feel it". (Ok I'm a bit of a b*tch on the internet but that's how I vent my anger hehe). I like wearing feminine clothes when I can- I love 40s/50s type stuff like blouses, skirts, and dresses. But if I'm too cold, then I'll just throw on a baggy college sweatshirt, because that's the only way I can keep warm. I also can't wear nice clothes when I'm doing stuff like hiking and fishing. I'm nice to people and I like girly clothes and hair, but other than that, I'm pretty much a tom. I love the outdoors and I don't bother with my nails. I like to have a sense of humor just like the guys, I mean, I don't like bathroom/sex jokes but I still like random stupid humor. And if I make a smarta*s comment, it's just a joke and it's never mean spirited (unless it's about a celebrity or something). I’m nice to people and I don’t wear jeans with my crack hanging out, isn’t that enough? I don’t think it’s fair that I should have to give up fishing, do my nails, be an airhead and have no sense of humor to be considered unladylike. I’m just asking this because I’m curious to hear different people’s opinions of what a “lady” is.

I was eatting some cereal last night and at the bottom of the bowel was big brown ball of squeshy muck. It was covered in viens.

When I ate my cereal, I thought the milk was a funny orange caramak colour and I saw what looked like horrible snotty bits in it.

Later, I started to feel nausia and then had tingling all over me and everything was blue.

This is something that used to happen to me alot when I was little.
This happened yesterday when I went to my Mums house.

What was it?

I have this neighbor who keeps wanting to use my phone, at all hours of the night. At first, it was only once a week, during the day, but a few weeks ago, she came at 130 am and then 630 am, and I don't want to be mean, but the last time she came, I told her no I was expecting a call. How do you "nip it in the bud" so to speak without causing strife?

For the past 4 years I have been working in an office in Manchester, England. I have had several arguments with a male collegue and have suspected for the past year that he has been tampering with my lunch. I often take a small sandwich or cup of soup to work and leave it in the staff fridge. On many occasions I have discovered what I can only describe as a sticky gray substance in my food... something I blame on my colleauge. Without any hard proof that he has been sexually tampering with my sandwich and soup is it wise to confront him? Or should I continue to eat contaminated lunch every day until I find this proof? Please help!

My Dad booked me a hotel on his credit card, so I had to pay him back as soon possible.

Because I have trouble understanding banks, I needed to have help. The person with me called David was there to help.

He left the information that said how much I have to pay behind; this meant that I had to get him to phone the people who knew how much I needed to pay.
All the people that he phoned were un-available.

He told me that the next occasion I would be able to go to the bank with any help would be with a Polish man called Maciek.
Maciek was not familiar with British banking systems and so I could not ask him for help

If I was to go with Maciek, it meant that I would need to have contact with David.
David gave me the numbers of all the people that were un-available, so I said that I need his number to cover my back-side in-case they were still un-available.
Despite this, he still refused to leave his phone on so that I could contact him.

I am new in this company and she has been really nice and helpful. She is leaving the company soon for a better job. I'm thinking of giving her some present (not of big money value) to show my appreciation to her assistance. Would it be too weird or too close if I do so since we have only known each other for less than a month? Thank you guys for you answers!

She does it chronically and it really smells [like a rotting bloody corpse that has been sitting out for about 20 years]. She says she likes it but i don't like it when she farts. I don't like it. I think it's too masculine to keep farting.

7 months ago, my younger brother passed away. Needless to say, this has been a very painful and difficult time for me and my family as we grieve his loss. On three separate occasions, with 3 different people who I am acquainted with through a community organization, when I mentioned the death of my brother, not one of them said, "My condolences," "I'm sorry for your loss." or just, "I'm sorry." One of the people I mentioned this to in person, and the other two via e-mail. I feel it is common courtesy, and just basic decency to at least say, "I'm sorry," when someone tells you they lost a loved one, even if they are relative strangers. What do you think?
