Sounds like they have some unresolved issues over the loss of someone close to them.
Do not worry or let it change the way you are. Continue to bring flowers in remembrance of your loved ones.
You may also include those who wrecked the flowers in your prayers that they find peace.

That's an ugly thing to do because it's bound to hurt someone's feelings.
On the other hand I wouldn't put flowers at a loved one's grave in the first place. What do they want with flowers? They don't even know they're there. The person isn't at the grave any more, just the body is - the former occupant has moved out. It actually always reminded me of the Egyptians burying their dead with family and pets and treasure and food and servants and so on so they would have it in the next life.
I understand though that it's not so much for the deceased as for the griever, so they can feel like they're doing something nice for their loved ones, honoring their memory and such. But be consoled that your loved one isn't bummed somewhere about the flowers being messed with, even if it was a rotten thing to do.

How Sad ! This kind of stuff is so sad, I think that the people who do this is heartless.
I'm so sorry, I wish I could do something to make you feel better, I know just how you feel. It makes one feel like they & there loved ones have been violated in some way.
Maybe if you report it to the place where it happened they will do something, I doubt it, but I would report it none the less.
God Bless and I do wish we could stop this kind of thing.

OMG I would be so upset, how can people not have respect for the deceased? People may think it is funny to vandalize grave yards but how uncaring can a human being be? In my opinion that is almost as bad as stone tipping.

Yes i would be upset. I left them there for my loved one in memory of them. Someone must have thought it would be funny to do as a prank...which wasn't a funny prank at all.
I leave things on loveone graves and if they were to be moved or wrecked....i would have to speak to the people in charge of the graveyard.

I'm so sorry that happened and I would tell the graveyard staff. Someone who would steal off a grave is a very low piece of scum. Hopefully karma will take care of them.

it could have blown away or animals do stuff which is more likely the case, if someone did there not the type of person worth spending your time thinking about and essentially nothing you can really do anyways just be the bigger person and replace them when you need to its for that person anyways, when you start letting the world and the nasty things in it get to you, you become what they are ugly, Kim

How awful! Sadly, there are terrible people in this world who have no respect for others.
Replace the silk flowers and keep your chin up. :)

My first thought is 'kids'. There's always some jerk messing up something in a cemetery. It happens all the time and this time it happened to you. Don't let it get to you. People who vandalize cemeteries are scum and they make me pretty angry but there's not much we can do.
