My debate topic is : An individual's obligation to society ought to outweigh societies obligation to the individual. So I need help becase i don't know how an individuals obligation could oughtweigh the societies. thanks

People who are unemployed are not contributing to society in a monetary fashion (taxes) so I guess they are putting their own obligations before society by not working and being a bum.

Obligations to societies keep societies going. If we want to keep a society civil, we must give first.
