the only thing you can do to get your self back in her good books is go all out and pay the big bucks. im sorry but its the truth. goodluck!
i was going to say buy the frypan on how good she cooks, but in this case you have to tell her she is a great cook and she has to have the best. so goodluck with you credit card repayments. the top of the range pans go for hundreds.

I wouldnt advise you to get her a frying pan for a gift but if you did, dont get a cheap because stuff always sticks to those things even if they say non-stick and not a very expensive on because some of them are way over priced and arent any better to cook with or clean so dont waste the money.

Cheap frying pan = Kmart Clearance tools
Medium Frying Pan = Autozone Knockoffs
Expensive Frying Pan = Craftsman.

Hmm I know too much about tools.

If your wife enjoys cooking I see no problem with giving her a frying pan. However, go high end. There are some beautiful copper pots and pans in Crate and Barrel that I would love to get. They also have a copper tea kettle that is just gorgeous.

But if she has never shown any interest in cooking, get her jewelry of some sort.

You get what you pay for. Cheap pan won't last too long. Same goes for medium priced pan. If your wife is a great cook and cooks alot, then I'd go with the expensive pan.

A frying pan is not a gift, it is a tool of the kitchen....if you are trying to buy her a frying pan...just because...then an expensive one...but if it a gift, her her something personal and let her buy her own frying pan.

Depends how much she cooks! If she cooks a lot then the most expensive. The medium priced one would probably also be good for her if she cooks a lot. It also depends on how much money you have to spend. If you can a ford the expensive one and she cooks medium-a lot then that one is fine. But if you don't have a lot to spend then buy the medium priced one. If she hardly cooks go for the cheap.

Why are YOU buying the cooking pans? This decision
should be done by your wife. Unless you will be doing all the
cooking?
That's as bad as giving your wife a mop for her birthday! Do you
want a sleeping partner or not?

If you are in the doghouse, you definitely shouldn't buy your wife a frying pan. Anything domestic sends the message, "I see you as a domestic who will cook for me," which is not the message she wants to receive when you are in the doghouse. Better get flowers instead.
