I think I'd ask the waiter to see the cheese cart, and then I'd ask for a recommendation.

Just have bits of whatever looks good. A tip though, start with the mild, and move through to strong or you won't appreciate the flavours. Always leave the blue until last.

They waiter will tell you what the cheeses are, you pick..If you are unsure of what to order...ask the sommelier if you are enjoying wine with it.

that you'd like to order from the cheese cart
but that you're not sure exactly how to go about it
--if you want, you can also be frank about it to the maitre d' when you make your reservation
