I love certain foods like pinto beans but I cannot eat them; I have to stay away from prunes. So, yes to your first question and yes to your second. I am an old homeless guy so it is not really something that you would think would embarass me. When it rains, however, I get homeless girls who want to sleep with me in my car. I don't know why but I used to fart like crazy when I was living in that car. I have been ordered not live in a car now by the police and I have a room but I think that I am still farting more than normal. I think if someone you like farts that you should too just so they won't feel any embarassment.

Yes and no.

At work a few weeks ago, i but busting for a fart. I kept holding on and hoping it would go away. In the end I decided to duck into the loo to let it go quietly but we had workmen in replacing the cistern. In sheer desperate need to let one go, i ran out into the back office, stood in the corner and let it rip. Jeeez, it cracked out with the force of a small explosion. I waited a few seconds to be sure it wouldnt follow me back into the office. What I didnt realise was that there was a meeting going on in the same office just the other side of the screen but they were complying with the 2 minute silence.

OOOOPSIE!

I usually fart on purpose in public, and am proud of my accomplishments, especially when I can look at others and look appalled!
LOL I have done that, but not on purpose. If I were to be windy in public, I would be totally embarassed, unless I could blame it on someone nearby.

I was taking a sign-language class, and it happened to be "silent day" were no one was allowed to talk at all. The teacher was signing away when I thought I'd let a little silent one go, but to my surprise it was quite turbulent. It was an explosion and everyone busted into laughter and I was quite embarrassed at the time. Now I laugh every time I remember it.

Not so that anyone heard it. But, my mum did a cracker of a fart at a supermarket once when I was 16 years old in front of a very nice looking guy who was stacking shelves...he passed her a coke bottle down off the top shelf and as it was quite heavy, he put it on the floor first - my mum bent down to pick it up and she let out a ripper and blamed it on her shoe! It was so obviously NOT her shoe! I was so embarrassed but I've forgiven her now!

Worse. I let one cut while flirting with a woman just after I'd asked her out on a first date. We had the date, but I'm sure you can imagine that there wasn't another. Thank God that was a long, long time ago and I can laugh about it now.

I have accidentally farted into a live microphone (attached to a loud sound system) which was in my lap in the middle of a rehearsal for a school show. I was right in the middle of the hall with about 100 people around and nowhere to hide.
Yes- I was embarrased.

oh dozens of times. I eat my 5 portions of fruit and veg a day. I'm generally skilled at moving away from the offending area swiftly enough to avoid embarrassment though sometimes my sniggering gives me away.

i was at publix and i thought i was on the aisle alone so i just unleashed this helicopter sounding fart. i was so relieved and i sighed. i turn around and a lady with two children was there. and one of the kids said mommy that lady just farted and waving his little hand and it stinks. i was so embarrassed i quickly went to produce and busted out laughing. then went to check out and she was right behind me again.
