Do you think there should be more privacy when going to the bathroom in the workplace? I don't mind number one, but number two....

Although I prefer noone there in the bathroom when doing number 2, in reality no one will know who is it as long as you walk out from the stall when the bathroom is empty.

You are right.. life at work (or public in general, like movie theaters) would be much easier for added comfort and privacy. The truth of the matter is that large corporations tend to look at bathrooms as a place to void waste material, and nothing more than the bare minimums to facilitate this process is usually in the budget. As time passes it gets better... as a boy I dreaded going number 2 at school where the doors had been removed from stalls for security, and hated the idea of going to a ball game and peeing in the large VERY public latrines. Now days there are automatic fans, locks that say "occupied" when in use, and every once in a while there is total privacy. I'm in my twenties, so bathroom comfort has really made a long stride in a short amount of time, and will ofcourse continue to do so. Be patient, and Good luck at work!

Yes I do!! They always seem to put the bathrooms where people have walk by all the time. I don't understand why. Unless they just do not want persons hanging out to long. I used to work with a guy who was always using a body cleansing product and the bathroom was right by my office. Disgusting!!!

I do. It is uncomfortable for all involved. If I know I am going to have a terribly offensive trip to the toilet, I go to the one in the lobby where there is just one toilet and it can be locked, so there is privacy.

And some white noise and good air freshener would help too.

Not just the work place! I think especially that the little partition between the men's urinals should be from the floor all the way to the ceiling! Who wants to look at your "peeing neighbor"?!!! That has got to be the number one awkward moment in a mans life. I use the stall. I'm totally pee shy at the urinal.

Blueflash is an idiot- stalls don't stop the place from smelling like a sewer or hearing the office accountant rip a gigantic fart. I mean come on- P U!

They should be like Starbucks- one person at a time.

Well, it's not always as private as we'd like, but it's the same for the others using the john. Just be kind enough to light a match and also provide a courtesy flush if necessary.
