why is it that every time society speaks out about someone's
bad-azz kids Parents get offended??? This was the case recently where the family got kicked off the plane because their 3 year old was having a tatrum...I know they paid for their tickets and books their flight too But WHY SHOULD THE REST OF SOCIETY HAVE TO ENDURE A FLIGHT WITH A SCREAMING CHILD....that's not fair and it's not polite....i am so tired of people imposing their undisciplined untrained disrespectful kids on the rest of the world...parents need to get a spine, take control orSHUT UP!!!

My fiance and I are writing up the program to our ceremony. I know in the wedding invitation, traditionally, the female's name goes first. But when you just name the couple, like in the ceremony program, or naming other couples (like the bridal party or even naming husbands and wives in the program) whose name goes first? Is it "Eric & Sue" or "Sue & Eric" or "Sue & Eric Anderson" or "Eric & Sue Anderson"?? My fiance and I are confused about what is traditional???

I am really struggling for money at the moment, after buying a house and Christmas, etc.
Office whip rounds seem to be never ending at the moment.... a £5 for someone who just had a baby, £5 for someone who off sick, £40 for someone who is retiring.... and various other charity runs, walks, etc that need sponsorship.

How do i tell my colleagues i cannot afford this constant barrage for money? Im not tight, but it is getting ridiculous!
Whats the etiquette to say no without seeming rude?

My sister in law watches my daughter a few days a week (my daughter is a little over a year old.) I have requested that since my daughter is starting table food that my sister-in-law not use her dishes when feeding my daughter. I told her that I will bring feeding dishes and utensils for her to use and then I want them washed and sent home with her each day. My sister in law has 2 young children of her own and still has baby bowls, and utensils, etc and seems to think that just because they have been washed in the dishwasher that it is okay to use on my baby. I told her that it really bothers me, myself, to have to eat off someone else's plates when I visit their home and I really don't want my baby doing it either. It really steams me up. Now her feelings are hurt because she thinks I am trying to say that they are not clean people, but it's really not sanitary to use other family's things. What can I do? She charges me $30 a week. Nobody else is going to babysit that cheap.

Let us say you are a financial advisor. You have to act a role dont you? You have to be "proffesional" and act like your knowledgable , maybe more than you really are, you have to sell yourself to your boss to your co-workers, and in short, you feel like a phoney at the end of the day dont you? And that is why you drink and smoke so much isnt it? You have to go home and relax and be yourself again. Does anybody hate the person that they play at work? I do.

Apparently there is thanks to everyone who answered my question. Yes, i'm young , but maybe not to young to know that was wrong.I did not know he was marrried at first, he told me after we kissed. After thinking about it i figured that if he didn't love his wife he should leave her. I'll admit he was hot , but he was also taken.Oh and before i forget i can't really go out to meet guys in clubs and such, i know calling someone is not the way to go, i promise to stop.

I'm student teacher currently at a high school. These kids will ask my mentor teacher a question, then some other kid will walk up to the teacher and start having a conversation with the teacher (Mrs....Mrs. why arent you answering my question....) as though the teacher isn't having a conversation with someone else.

Why don't students have the common sense for basic manners? How would you fix it? These kids are all diferent; some very bright and some special needs yet the problem is present in all of them.

I'm only 22, not too far off from a High School senior. There is no way I would interrupt or treat a teacher like they do.

Because it is during the spring, I would normally think about wearing pastel, but it is an afternoon ceremony with a formal evening reception. Can I get away with dark brown satin? or a black dress? Any websites on the etiquette for a spring time black tie evening wedding would really help too!

He lost his daughter (god rest her soul). I don't know if a sympathy card & flowers is appropriate (like in the US) or something else. Don't want to accidentally offend.
