It she's into any sports, get her a gift certificate for a sports store.....add on a single flower, maybe a carnation....can't get any ideas on that.....and bingo you've got a hit. If not into sports, there again, get a gift certificate for Bath and Body Works, or a CD/DVD, books, etc. Just note the Sweet 16, it's special and and a single flower.

Get her a subscription to her favorite magazine or a gift card to her favorite restaurant. People always love gifts that they can tell the giver took some time and put some thought into. Good Luck

Sweet sixteen and never been kissed. Give her a kiss. If you are a good friend then you have to know what her likes and dislikes are so it shouldn't be too hard or ask her parents or some of her friends to give you some ideas.

There's usually some item of jewelry that is "the thing" of the moment - like the Tiffany bracelets from a year or two ago. Check around to see what the most popular items are now, or a simple piece of jewelry, like a necklace, bracelet or earrings.

Yes go......It's nice to be invited and you could make new friends too! Don't feel out of place....if they thought you wouldn't fit in they probably wouldn't have invited you! Yes bring a gift......perhaps a gift certificate or gift card from a teen store at your mall would be nice! Go make friends & have fun! You'll be fine!

You can buy these cute little miniature cases that contain a collection of lipsticks, nail polish etc. I have seem them at K-Mart/ Target , in pharmacies and department stores. They come in a range of prices. See if you can find out from a friend what her favourite colour is.

Something symbolic because its a sweet 16 and there is only one. It doesnt have to be expensive just special and somewhat personal.

I would say give her a gift card. It will be well recieved and it won't be returned to the store for being too this or that.
