why is it that every time society speaks out about someone's
bad-azz kids Parents get offended??? This was the case recently where the family got kicked off the plane because their 3 year old was having a tatrum...I know they paid for their tickets and books their flight too But WHY SHOULD THE REST OF SOCIETY HAVE TO ENDURE A FLIGHT WITH A SCREAMING CHILD....that's not fair and it's not polite....i am so tired of people imposing their undisciplined untrained disrespectful kids on the rest of the world...parents need to get a spine, take control orSHUT UP!!!

The parents had no right to complain about how they were treated because of the way they raised (or rather, failed to raise) their child. Frankly, the attendants should have said "Sir, your daughter is a threat to this plane and it's passengers, if you do not restrain her and get her to comply with our regulations, we will have to leave her behind. It will be your choice whether or not you and your wife wish to join her." I mean, if your family gets kicked out of a crowded theater because a child is yelling and ruining it for everyone else, do they get reimbursed AND receive tickets to an upcoming show of their choice!? Not likely. The airline dropped the ball on handling this, the media shouldn't be blowing it up, and for God's sake, make an attempt to raise your children.

Amen. It's not just that the girl was screaming. She wouldn't sit down, and let them put a seat belt on her. It is against FAA regulations for the plane to leave the gate before everyone is seated, and buckled in. What those parents chose to ignore, is that they were inconveniencing every other passenger on that plane, and they had the nerve to go on TV, and complain about how humiliated they were!

I agree.
If I paid several hundred dollars for a ticket, I would not want to hear a child screeching. I saw the parents interviewed on TV and the kid was bouncing off the walls and all over the place. What does that tell you?
