Penmanship comes from how you hold your hand as well as bone development.

If you rush to write, yours will look like a an explosion of letters.

You have to learn to get the fundamentals of writing down.

If you get find information on Palmer writing and, basically, relearn how to write, you can have that nice, flowing style that you see

Well trying hard and thinking girly isnt going to make you write girly.....you write the way you do because you build up muscle memories - that is, you learn to perform all the little motions, without even thinking about them, that make your handwriting look the way it does.

If you want to better your penmanship, all you can do is practice practice practice at it, and relearn just like you learned it the first time around in first grade. Start by just writing letters over and over, slowly, paying attention to the form. Write big letters to start with, like the kindergarteners do, and then as you get more used to the motions, you can start writing smaller and smaller. Stick at it, and pay attention every time you write anything, or you'll just "erase" what your hands learned doing it the wrong way. Eventually, your hands will "learn" the newer, more legible way to write, and you'll start doing that without thinking.

Before you start, though, you should think about what your goal really is. If you're trying to make your writing more legible and clear and concise, then that would be worth the effort. If you just think your writing isnt feminine enough, and you want it to be bubbly and dot your i's with smiley faces and stuff, I'd advise against it - people wont take you seriously if your handwriting is too Barbied-up, and honestly, no one will really think your handwriting looks "boyish", or care....

I would buy a calligraphy book and practice, practice, practice. Also, work on your spelling sweetie. It's writing not writting.
