Isn't it rude when basically the person is saying to you, "what's on the TV is more important than you."

I just returned from the company bathroom.

Not to get into too many details, I was going #2 in the company restroom...and in the stall next to me I was witness to a POWERFUL blast, followed by a long round of flatulence. When there was finally silence, I blurted out laughing (as most others probably would have done in the same situation)...

Once I was finally able to control my laughter, I knocked on the wall and congratulated him on a 'job well done'....silence on the other side.

When we were both done (coincidently at the same time) we both went to wash our hands when I noticed it was the company VP coming out of the stall next to me.

I said 'nice job' and offered a high five (after we both washed our hands). He looked at me in disgust and walked right out of the bathroom.

Now, I think I really aggrevated this gentleman (who is my VP). I've always been a hard worker and I really hope this situation doesnt' sour my chances for promotion.

How can I right this?

we all make mistakes and we all learn from them. i know everyones entitled to thier opinion, but do you have to be so cruel. i have left the guy so that he can keep the promise he made to his wife. I'm not asking for world peace , but calling someone a twit or a dumba** is not helping.

I recently began a new job and have been slowly getting to know my peers. There is one man who consistenly walks by my desk and stares in my office at me- sometimes even stopping to stare at me for a second or two. I am not the only one who has witnessed this- as two other peers have as well. At first, I thought, well I'm new, everyone is staring probably trying to figure out who I am. But now its been almost a month. My peers told me "he is weird." Now, do i just go on ignoring this because this guy is "weird"? Or, what can else can I do? Should i confront him- (although i must admit he's already made me pretty uncomfortable and I am nervous if I confront him he will think I have interest in him) He walks by my office regularly, more than 10 times a day, (although it is out of his way to normal office locations (ie: bathrooms, copy room, etc.) What should I do? I dont want him to continue to stare at me daily - I feel like I'm on display. Any advice greatly appreciated!

I am curious what term people of color find most acceptable.

In high school we were encouraged to use "African American," but as one of my friends put it "I'm not African, I've never even been to Africa, and I'm 'black', thankyouverymuch."

Oddly in Holland (where I live) it is considered offensive to refer to a person using the word that means "black", but is polite to use the word "dark", or the Dutch word "neger", which for Americans would have a much different connotation.

So "black" or "African American"? Anyone care to chime in?

(Please answer respectfully, this is a serious question.)

I remember "growing some" while dancing (slow) with some ladies as I matured and even at later times when I chose not to exercise control ( it feels good and sends an unspoken message).
What I'm concerned with , is the High School dances, when there was NO control.
What were your thoughts as you rubbed up against his "excitement"?

When she revealed it, I was horrified to see that she had actually had a tattoo done of my face! She couldn't understand why I was so upset. What I'm really worried about is the office party. We normally bring our partners. I do not want my wife to see my image on another woman's arm (she'll almost certainly be wearing a sleavless ballgown. Can you imagine?

One of our landlords (two brothers in a partnership) hired a plumber to fix a backed up drain from roots. The plumber had my phone number so he could set up the appointment.

The plumber called and said that after repeated attempts to contact our landlord for payment, he has not returned his calls. Should I give him his P.O. box or the phone number of the other brother to contact for payment? Is it the plumber's responsability to have gotten more info. before doing the work or ?

I am a 16 year old. I think I am a late bloomer because I just started masturbating recently. I really have been doing it daily for 6 months now. Is this ok? I have the house to myself after school so my usual routine is come home and get naked and I usually masturbate on my recliner to pictures of pretty women like Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Tara Reid, Katie Holmes, Jessica Simpson and others. I do this everyday. Is it normal? Part of me is wondering if this isnt healthy? I also like masturbating to older women also like Helen Hunt, Jodie Foster, Sharon Stone, Jacquelyn Smith, Madonna etc.

I just enrolled my 6 year old girl in kindergarten at a new school, so the rules there are different than previous and different things they teach. Well she's been there for just 6 days now and everyday they send a note with a complaint.

1.She colored outside the line

2. Didn't finish her lunch and came back late from bathroom (she should not be timed in the bathroom).

3. First day of school also first time on school bus, she didn't line up in the right line like she knew which bus was hers before she started lol

4. She's not doing her work correctly.
My question are the teachers too picky, because 6 days and this many notes have been sent, and of course she didn't do the work perfect all the other students had 6 months too learn it, she had a day.
Should i say something to the teacher, explaining that my daughter is just adjusting to new school, i'm almost worried they'll kick her out lol (exaggeration). Thank you

I have a co-worker who I don't know very well. At a meeting before we got started, another co-worker brought up the racist comments of Michael Richards. My co-worker who is the only black person serving on this team, voiced how glad she was that someone finally brought it up and she complained to her friends that no one asked her opinion or discussed it with her at work. I'd like to start a discussion with her about a recent arrest and sentencing of a white college student who used racial slurs and then stabbed a black college student and how it has affected the community. Is does seem incredibly wrong and unnatural when these awful racist issues arise and it's not discussed with those who suffer it. My question is, what is the most sensitive way to do this?

We have a "Mad Crapper" at our office. Who ever it is must eat healthy because they leave us a nice surprise in the bowl on a regular basis. We are trying to come up with a funny term to call it... like how "Dirty Sanchez", and "The Shocker" have become house hold names. The funniest reply will get the best answer. Thanks!
