I care a whole lot about others and consider myself to be a very considerate person. I volunteer and participate in activities that help to make people feel better about themselves. I think that it is very important to care about the people around you simply because everyone needs some attention every now and then.

When I think of everyone on the planet, I care with everything in me. When I think of others who are decent, kind people, again, with everything in me. But, I always know that you can only do so much, even if it just means say a prayer.

Depends. A heavy smoker with lung cancer not alot of empathy as it was their choice.
Someone who never smoked with lung cancer a lot of empathy.
I am big on you made your bed now you go lay down on it.
I'm not mean but not some softie either.
I'm real big on personal choices and don't give alot of caring to those who make bad choices and then when the bad things come from them expect me to care.
I'm real big on eduction vs. caring. My form of caring is educating people.

I wish no ill on others. But I also don't believe it is my duty to take care of every alcoholic, drug addict or lazy bum out there. We do need a social safety net, but when we have 4th and 5th generation welfare families, something is seriously wrong.

It depends on the way they treat me.... but generally I try and be very curtious and respectful of others always.
I have a big heart and would give you the shirt off my back if you needed it.
However, I don't believe in handouts; I believe in giving a hand up.

i my self would have to say that its different for everyone. you don't care for everyone you know the same, everyone is different and has different problems. That would be like caring for my sister the same way i care for my boyfriend.

If I don't know them, I cannot have an opinion other than I think they're beautiful humans. If I know them and they're bad then I won't like them. All in all, it depends on how they've treated others and myself.
