i did not go to the work do last saturday because i am off work with whiplash after a second accident this year - again not my fault - some so and so hit my car from behind.
after a lot and i mean a lot of soul searching i did not go and boy i felt so bitter against the bloke who hit my car - he ruined the start of christmas for me.
all my mates had a real great time and told me about via phone and texts because i was asking them how things went.
in a way i am glad i did not go as it may have started some sly comments etc but in a way i wish i had because i missed such a great night.
i know i have rambled here but do you think in the end that i did the right thing?

Are you really trying to help or just bored? This because I am amazed at the mentality of some of the answers. Also, it seems like people get off on insulting others.

Are you the type of person that takes a bite off their fork and uses their lips rather than their teeth, as to not leave behind any food on the fork that clumps up and looks pretty gross? I am, but my husband isn't. I love him and accept him for who he is- it's this fork thing that he does LOL! ...And this is a pet peeve I've had since I was really young (a kid). It looks really gross! LOL We were eating biscuits and gravy thismorning- if you get the picture... If you've had a similiar experience with pet peeves and trying to not let them bother you, especially with someone so close (spouse, boyfriend, family member...) PLEASE let me know a good way to let it not bother you as much!

I am an atheist and my mom doesn't want me to say anything to my grandparents so as not to upset them. Should I graciously accept the religious gifts every year, or should I "come out of the closet", so to speak...

My brother in law always has amazing, unique ways of presenting gifts. Last year, he froze the gift in a bucket of water. When his recipient unwrapped his gift it was an ice pick. He had to chisel out the actual gift. The year before he bought 500 envelopes, placed a gift card in one, sealed them all. Then nailed them in a wooden box. We have done scavenger hunts as well. I really need to get him this year! PLEASE HELP!

So I have these 2 co-workers that get on my last nerves. They both have a habit of looking at my computer screen and commenting about what I'm doing. I think they should mind their business. The female has a tendency to cut people off when they're talking and talking extremely loud when doing so, so that I'm kind of forced to stop because not only is she talking while I'm talking and without really listening to what I'm saying, but she's drowning my voice out too. The guy talks even louder and likes to say "shush, let me talk" when he wants to get his point across or is on the phone. And he's a little punk b**** b/c we're both training for similar positions, but in different offices, and when we got our business cards, he looked at mine and asked why our cards didn't say the same thing. Am I just an oversensitive B****, or am I right to be annoyed? How do I let them know that the things they do annoy me without going all "angry black woman"? Should I tell them?

The theater wasn't packed or anything, this lady behind me made a big fuss about it. She cussed me out and I threw my drink at her. Oddly enough I wasn't kicked out - people should mind their own business.

I'm an earlybird and I wake up approximately around 5:00 AM every morning. I typically like to clean my apartment before I start getting ready for work so that I always come back home from work to a clean apartment. I have a habit of vacumming every morning at 5:30 AM and last week my neighbor lady and I got into a quarrel saying I am too noisy in the mornings and that I need to be more respectful. I got angry with her and told her all kinds of mean things as well.... I start work at 7 AM and I usually almost always come back home late, so by the time I come back home I'm usually very tired around 9 PM and fall asleep by that hour. Aren't I right If I want to vacuum since I am in my own dwelling. Could 5:30 AM be too early? How do you feel about this?

Last night at our office party I walked in on my female boss pleasuring herself on the door handle of the stationary cupboard.
As I am the office junior I am the one that has to go to that cupboard most often, and now I really don't want to.
I have two choices, either I wear gloves from now on or report her for gross indecency in the workplace. What would you do?
Serious answers only please.
