I usually just get up and move. But I have a friend who will turn around and loudly say, "I did not pay $8 bucks to come in here and listen to you talk!!" It works most of the time.

Politely ask them to be quiet and if it continues go to the management of the theater and have them speak to the rowdies, if there is still no resolution ....demand your money back, and not just your ticket money....demand the price of drinks and snacks too.

Turn around and ask them to be quiet. If that fails, I contact the manager to have him do something with the blabber mouths.

I know what you mean!
First, I would make it obvious that they're being annoying. For example, I would look back at them and give them a stern look. If they continue chatting loudly, I would turn around again and cough loudly WHILE giving them a stern look. If that doesn't help, just say, "Excuse me, can you please lower your voices? Thanks."

Politely ask them stop and then if they don't, go alert the theatre staff and they will speak to them and/or remove them. Believe me, it works!
