I did not expect to get an extravegant gift, or a lot of money. just a thought. both of my cousins are over 20 and have no exspensis and have good jobs. I would have felt more loved if i got a real card, not one from a box, even if it was empty. am i still wrong?

I'm not Christian.......My friend just invited me to her mom's Jesus party for the kids. What is that? Do I need to bring her mom a gift? If so what is appropriate? She just lost her husband and I haven't seen her since funeral.

In the 5 person office I work for, the two higher-ups gave the worker bee's gifts (~$30), and the 3rd highest person gave me (and everyone else, I assume) inexpensive gifts ($1-2). I'm the 4th highest person, and the newest to the organization. I also make less than the others. I sent everyone holiday cards before the gifts were given. Should I give everyone small gifts? The two higher ups make 2-4+ times my income, so any real gift that is big money to me is small potatos to them. And the #2 has said many times that she does not want any more "stuff", only consumables. That being said, should I get them something??

Went to my high school today, and they had a fundraiser for one of my old teachers who is sick. They were selling candy bars for a dollar, so I gave 20 dollars for one. Then I decided that I would give another 100 dollars too, just because I like the teacher very much and she honestly means the world to me. The guy in charge didn't take my money straight off--asked me if my mother knew I was giving that much money--I said that it's my own money--I sorted garbage for a month for that money, and I can do whatever I want with it. He said okay but told me to think about it. I said I didn't want to think about it--I knew what I was doing. He made me go think about it for 2 hours but I made him take the money for my teacher eventually. I'm more than happy to give it, but I do feel bad a little, because I was just trying to do something nice, and I was hassled about it. Was it because of my age or because everyone knows I'm poor? Even so, is that right?

I received a low-fat cookbook from my father-in-law for Christmas a few years back. However, we didn't see him to exchange gifts until March, and by then I had lost 20 lbs. (which was all I needed to lose). Then he and his wife said "but it looks like you don't need it now". Was that really insensitive or is it just me?

I got my aunt, uncle, and two cousins very thoughtful gifts. They were inexspensive, but still nice. I got My uncle a bottle of gery goose voldka, my aunt burts bees lotion and chap stick, my female cousin a make up bag and lip gloss, and my male cousin an axe gift set with deoderant shower gel, and spray. The most exspensive was the voldka, 15$, burts bees 10, lip glosss and bag, 10 and axe, 9. Its not the money, its that I tried to get them all sometghing that they would enjoy and that I know they are into. I got a card that is from one of those boxes of cards with no thought and 10$ form the whole family. And the worst part is my female cousin was telling me how she got a new job a few months back and makes 14$ an hour. I only make 10 and dont live at home like she does rent free. I know i shouldn't really care but i though they would at least try to get me something i'd enjoy. Couldn't they all pitch in and at leats give my 40$? please tell me if you think I am wrong.

I was playing truth or dare with my cousin Matt, Amanda and three of Amandas girlfriends. We are all Sophomores in college and we were just hanging out at Amanda and her roomates house. Well, needless to say we were all drinking and having fun playing truth or dare. One dare was even to doorbell ditch one of the neighbors, some were to make prank calls etc.. Well, Amandas friend Bianca knew I was a little drunk (Im not blaming her though) and when she asked me a very personal question, I chose the dare. She asked me to sit down on the recliner naked and masturbate to a picture of Lindsay Lohan. I also had to scream her name when I orgasmed. Well, needless to say I did this and I just took off all my clothes and lied on the recliner and went at it, I asked for lubricant and one of the girls got me some. I was embarrassed when its was over. Some of the girls said I had a needle di##. I am 3 inches erect. Matt was laughing hysterical. I am wondering if this will all be forgotten later?

I'm going to see Corteo next week and my boyfriend (who surprised me with tickets) said that I would need to buy a nice dress, and that he would wear his Class A's (he's in the Army). Is this really neccesary or is Cirque du Soleil (also known as Cirsus Ole) a very formal occasion? I've heard that it wasn't. We're going to have dinner with the cast before the show. Our tickets were really expensive so I don't want to show up there too casual or too formal and have to leave, you know? Any ideas? lol

My brother who is in his 30s will taunt his nephew whose 4, by throwing a lot of the change on the ground for nephew to pick up and give back to him. He says nephew is greedy. Then my brother will get money out le't say $10s and $20s and say which one do you want? Then brother will take a $1 and say no to my nephew and not give him anything, and put it back in his wallet. He claims nephew is greedy and unthoughtful, and my brother does this all the time without giving him a dime. What kind of behavior is this?

My brother will even eat in front of my nephew without giving him a bite or bringing him something.

These ladies always smoke to the left and under my window. I can't ever leave my windows open because they chain smoke and my condo would totally reek. Besides that, it's secondhand smoke. What should I do? I don't want to tick them off either.

She was talking so loudly and being so demeaning to him that other patrons were leaving their tables and going elsewhere in the restaurant. I walked up to her and politely asked her if SHE was possibly being inapprpriate. She was incredibly rude to me and I went on to explain I just thought she should know that everyone was staring at her and/or leaving and that she had some nerve berating her employee when she is behaving in such a manner. What would you have done?

I feel sorry for this good-looking man with poor hygiene at work. He is my work partner and we go out of fields for job performances. I don't want to be rude and how can I come accross to him without criticizing about him. I have been grown up mostly females friends, relatives, and workers. He looks nicely groomed the outside but Im not sure how many days he takes shower.

I don't think, smoking should be banned, but besides it going against freedom, affecting buissness, and other things can also harm you but we are not banning them, what are some other reasons smoking should NOT be banned.
Thanks
