A person was shot in Minneapolis when he laughed at someone flashing a gang sign so obviosuly that isn't the correct response.

Do we tip these people. I remember when the daily paper used to be delivered by a kid on a bike and it was perfectly decent to give him a little money at Christmas. But now the paper is delivered by an adult with a car. Does he get a tip? How about the mail person? I used to live in a very metropolitan area and tipping the mailmail was custom but do you do it in a rural area too? Tipping the mailguy in NYC assured you that your packages would arrive in one piece all year long. But in Maine where the package can safely be left on your front step - is tipping still called for.

We have 2 Brits on our office and me and my friend heard them talking about a workmate who just had been fired and they said he was "hung like a donkey"

Is it normal for you British to hang defenceless farmyard animals?

What a bunch of brutes you all must be!!

I plan on going to a friends house in Chicago for possibly 2 weeks, and was wondering how I go about using their restroom? Should I bring mah own bathroom items? Soap, shampoo, etc.

A man, returning home a day early from a business trip, got into a taxi at the airport. It was after midnight. While en route to his home, he asked the cabby if he would be a witness. The man suspected his wife was having an affair and he intended to catch her in the act. For $100, the cabby agreed.

Quietly arriving at the house, the husband and cabby tiptoed into the bedroom. The husband switched on the lights, yanked the blanket back and there was his wife in bed with another man. The husband put a gun to the naked man's head.

The wife shouted, "Don't do it! This man has been very generous! I lied when I told you I inherited money. He paid for the Corvette I bought for you. He paid for our new cabin cruiser. He paid for your season Green Bay Packer Tickets. He paid for our house at the lake. He paid for our country club membership, and he even pays the monthly dues!"

Shaking his head from side to side, the husband slowly lowered the gun. He looked over at the cab driver and said, "What would you do?"

The cabby said, "I'd cover his *** up with that blanket before he catches a cold."

I recently had a baby in October. I had a shower about 1 month before that and made sure that I sent out thank you cards for each and every person that got us something. As I should have. Anyways, my question is, when I had my baby, some of the same people bought extra gifts and gave them to me at the hospital. Do they get another Thank you card? You know when you have a baby, people will bring stuff up to your room? Do they get thank you cards too? I already sent them thank you cards for the shower gift because all of the people that brought stuff to the hospital, also attended the baby shower. Just wondering......

Do you think that it is fair to ask a question and get an answer that you don't like and ask it in a different title? I think that my answer was a good answer and non-attacking as well. If the answer was that bad don't you think that they should have taken the 2 point dip and deleted it? Just curious.

Why are aussie blokes such terrible stress head drivers? They are so easily angered and drive like total idiots, obviously unable to deal with a bit of stress overload around them and rather like spoilt brat kids stomping up and down in a cot,and screaming when they cant get what they want. Its great fun going dead on the speed limit in Melbourne and watching these dickheads go swiftly off their heads when they cant get past. A woman once said to me "theyre the same in bed..all rev up and rush, jump the lights and run too close to your ****". ! Poetry !

Isn't it time you took some etiquette lessons? I am tired of listening to foreigners and immigrants complaining about Ontarians who are pushy and rude, cold people from the East, excessive directness, opinionated tendencies and rudeness?

I work in an office and get alot of phone calls daily, usally to help employees. Am I being overly sensative? I think it's very rude to just hang up without saying goodbye when your don't with the conversation.

Note: most people at least say thank you but not always.

My hubbys grandmother died, and the funeral is Thursday. We have to travel 150 miles. My hubby's parents are divorced, and this is his mom's mom. His father, however, stayed very closed with that side of the family, and they opened their homes to him on many occasions.

However, my hubbys dad refuses to go to the funeral. His excuse is that 20+ years ago, no one came to "his" mothers funeral, so why should he go to this one? Now, you have to understand, the family from out of state barely knew his mom, and probably only met her 10 times over the course of 30 years. Whereas my my father in law had a LOT of contact with the out of state family.

I think this is soooo disrespectful. Both to the deceased, to her family, and especially to his two sons (my huuby and his bro). If nothing else, he should be there for them.

Am I wrong?

I am banning Christmas Eve at their house. I refuse to go. This shows nothing but disrespect, and I can't pretend I am not offended!

S it inappropiate to get an erection in front of a nurse?

I went to the doctors office last Thursday to get a mole looked at. When I went to see my dermatologist, I explained to the nurse that I had a mole on my penis and that I just wanted it looked at and she told me to completely undress. Well, I wasnt given a gown or anything which I found odd, but I did take off all my clothes and was nude when she walked back in. The nurse was a tall slim blonde and she came back in just to check my blood pressure and pulse. But as I sat there on the exam table while she was checking my blood pressure, I ended up getting a raging erection. She kind of smirked but I was so embarrrassed cause it was like that for 10 minutes. I felt ashamed cause my 3.5 inch erection wouldnt go down. She didnt say anything to me but smile when she left and told me the doctor would be in. When the doctor came in, I was back down again. But do u think the nurse was offended? Did she tell the doctor anything? Other nurses? Was it no big deal? Was I out of line?

I dunno think that this is a stereotype but this might be true, cause most of my friends are from these countries.

the koreans, germans, australians, swedish, the scots, the welsh, canadians, indonesians and the italians look more as a decent people & have more a decorous behaviour than the americans or mexicans.
