Do you think that it is fair?

Do you think that it is fair to ask a question and get an answer that you don't like and ask it in a different title? I think that my answer was a good answer and non-attacking as well. If the answer was that bad don't you think that they should have taken the 2 point dip and deleted it? Just curious.

I think that if you ask a question here, you need to accept that some people will answer honestly, not necessarily telling you what you want to hear.

I don't know about fair, but I do think it's kinda silly to keep asking the same question until you get an answer that agrees with you.
Different views and opinions are what YA is all about..

Good for you for taking the time to answer well - don't be discouraged by one petulant asker who only wants folks to agree with them.

I have found that there are three basic types of questions posted here: Those that are truly seeking new information and opinions on a subject that they are interested in, those that are looking to cheat the system (see most of the "homework help" questions), and those that are looking for validation of their own opinions (sometimes inflammatory) and nothing more. It is very possible that the asker you are speaking about was one of the last. Your own question certainly falls into that category.

I think some people ask the same question over and over to get more answers. I think most people tend to look mostly at the more recent questions on the board. So, if you keep posting the same question... you're question will keep popping up at the top of the board, and more people will answer it.

Personally, I also find it very annoying to see the same question over and over.

The person may have felt a contemptuous, sarcastic tone in your answer.
