I dunno think that this is a stereotype but this might be true, cause most of my friends are from these countries.

the koreans, germans, australians, swedish, the scots, the welsh, canadians, indonesians and the italians look more as a decent people & have more a decorous behaviour than the americans or mexicans.

i can understand what you mean but maybe you have just met the ones who have given the bad impression, i think the overall perception of these countries is as you say, but i think the best people for manners, etiquette and social graces are the Japanese and Chinese their very way of life is all about respect, i think every culture could learn a thing or two from our oriental friends.

I live in wales, and a lot of english people think that they have more decorous behaviour than other nations (not just americans).

However, they make fun of the Welsh the same way american northerners make fun of american southerners.

I never heard of Indonesians being particularly decorous. There just aren't enough Koreans around here to really have a stereotype (maybe some guys who fought in the korean war have one).

There are a lot of negative stereotypes about italians, much worse than americans.

As for germans, after two wars they have their own stereotypes unfortunately.

But if you really want stereotypes, start talking to the brits about the french. Better yet, don't.

aussies are kinda outbackie too, a lot were sent there as penal colonies and suffer terrible ruffian stereotypes. and scottish a bit highlander and highwayman, watch trainspotting for the modern stereotype.

and canadians? it depends how old you are. they often look down on americans, but that's cause they're up top of the continent.

I never thought mexicans had a bad rep here. I thought that was kind of a southern us thing. Mexico is a poor country, but so are indonesia and korea.

I think that is definitely stereotyping and untrue, i think you should give people from these places more of a chance you will find there are many decent people with decent values.
And it sounds a little like you consider yourself to be in some way superior to them.

Perhaps, but you certainly don't lack for bombast and sanctimony.

Hope that made you feel better, perhaps made you feel superior.

Me, I remain unimpressed with those that choose to make sweeping generalizations and reveal them self to be woefully inadequate in passing judgment on anyone.

Well, I heard Italian men all cheat on their wives, which I find repulsive. That, however, is their culture. And what nationality are you? I think that when you have 300 million people, there are going to be many who are jerks, but that doesn't mean that's how Americans are in total.

Of course, absolutely yes, but expand your question to include the English, the most decorous of them all, especially when at football matches!!
