Have you seen her in a bikini and six-inch heels?

Yes, we give Tara another chance.

I don't think she should've gotten a second chance! Yes, I know that other people drink underage all the time. Even I did it! But that's beside the point: She knew when she entered these beauty pageants EXACTLY what she was getting into! She knew she'd be signing away her right to do whatever she wants at any given time. Like someone else was saying, if she can't follow the given rules, too bad! And If her crown was taken away, I'd have no sympathy!

Miss USA should retain her title because people make mistakes and she is willing to go into rehab to get help. This will make a good example for young people that even beauty and intelligence is ugly when there's a hidden addiction.

I think that she should be responsible for her actions, quit whining and begging for a second chance and move on. Title should be taken away, cause I am pretty sure there are better role models out there.

Trump gave Miss USA another chance. Everyone makes one or more mistakes in life and everyone, in my opinion should be given another chance.

God gives all of us 2nd chances, so why shouldn't we give other humans a 2nd chance?

I don't think that I would give her a second chance I mean granted people are saying that she is human and human's make mistakes. But she knew exactly what her barriers were. She knew that she was making a mistake when she did it. If she can't follow the rules....maybe the runner up can!

Yes, she was drinking, AND she's just 21 today, I think. She was seen kissing Miss Teen America, yuk, take it indoors, and like you say, she is responsible for maintaining a positive and clean image for the young people...

No, she should not be given a second chance. Yes. she should have her title taken away.
Unless, it is for "Miss Bimbo of the year". That one she earned.

They let her keep her title, though I think she should have had it taken away. This implies that they condone this behavior. They need to take it seriously, she's supposed to be a role-model and she has not been making the right choices.

To answer hick's question "Why should we hold her to a higher standard than we do our own kids?"

Um, because she's Miss USA, maybe?

Or don't you think that the girls who enter these ridiculous pageants should be held to any kind of standards at all?
