I'm not Christian.......My friend just invited me to her mom's Jesus party for the kids. What is that? Do I need to bring her mom a gift? If so what is appropriate? She just lost her husband and I haven't seen her since funeral.

Well a Jesus party is what some Christians are doing now to celebrate Christmas. Christmas is believed among all Christians to be the time of the birth of Jesus Christ. So some Christians have decided to celebrate a birthday party to honor Jesus Christ.
Bringing a gift isn't necessary. You should probably just offer your condolences to her mother, or not speak of it all, depending on the relationship you have with this person.

I've never been invited to a Jesus party, but I would agree that it could be a party to celebrate Christ's birthday. I would think that a wrapped gift is not acceptable unless you are giving a donation to the church of the person who is hosting the party. Bring a food item!

As for as the answer re: lingerie. I don't agree with that!!!!!

It's not a jesus party, It's a 'jesus party. 'jesus is a line of mexican lingerie. Women have parties where they model the lingerie and sex toys that 'jesus sells. You order from these women and your order is shipped to you at your house.
