That guys greet other by slapping hands? And some of them slap hands and then do that chest to chest thing. Why are they touching each other? Are they gay?

I'ma senior in high school, do you think that it is arrogant to just go up to a group of people out of the blue and ask if you can sit with them at lunch or something like that. I know them all and they all like me and I like all them and I've known them for years even though we're not really close friends but I don't know if that's like inviting myself and it's arrogant and I should just forget it. I mean I'll be out in a few months but I'd really like to spend more time with them

I hate myself and personality for that reason! I'm totally fine and always have things to say with three or more people, but it's always awkward, sometimes really awkward, when it's just me and another person, guy or girl. That's why I don't have friends over often, I only have group parties, and I HATE answering my cell--I just don't answer it and people always stop calling me eventually. It's not that I'm shy or anything--I'm not, I just don't seem to have anything to say to that one other single person. Any social tips out there for me? Any other questions you'd like to ask me to help me out!? Thanks if you have any input whatsoever!

Okay so I'm currently in the process of breaking up with my boyfriend (don't ask... it's complicated) and I want to buy him a gift but since we've just broken up... Would that be good? or bad? and I also want to get him a new button up shirt just like the one that I borrowed and lost... But should I get him that? And if I do should I get him something else and what should it be?? I'm thinking a ring.... But would that be hinting that I want to get back together or be "friends with priveliges" or something dumb like that?

PLEASE HELP!!

I have this male co-worker who is more than just an acquaintance, but we are not very close either. He used to be interested in me, and we went out to dinner together once sometime ago, but we sort of drifted apart after I made it clear to him that I am not interested.
A couple of days ago as we were chatting, he commented on my '*** curve', which made me feel uncomfortable. I feel that it is inappropriate for someone who is just a co-worker to comment on that part of my body and now I feel real pissed at him and a little at myself for not saying anything back. Am I over-acting?
If he comments on my *** again, what should I say without making things awkward for us at the office?

Why do a lot of people object to this practice, As it is the best way to curl your hair without causing damage to it.
Also if you see a women all nicely dressed dashing into a shop or picking up her kids with rollers still in her hair why does she get judged so harshly by some people as it is obvious that she has taken some time to set her hair and that she has probably not planned to go out in them, and wants to look her best when she goes out in the evening on a date or whatever

In what sense did Jackson's veto of the bill to recharter the 2nd Bank of the United States reflect his democratic political philosophy? why was the bank such a source of public controversy? why did jackson consider the bank non-democratic? why did jackson consider the bank a "many-headed hydra"? what steps did he take to destroy the bank? what were pet banks? why did jackson see these as acceptable alternatives to the ational Bank? how did jackson's policies on the bank and other issues lead to the formation of the whig party?

I want to write up a list of house rules to post throughout my house. I am sick of everyone abusing certain privaleges. Like leaving my toliet stopped up or not picking up after themselves. I am not a slave. What should I do and how should I go about it? And what are some reasonable rules that are fair to everyone but also keeps things in order?

My neighbors always ***** about how loud my family and I are. I have a 2 year old son who has cabin fever due to the fact he can't get to play outside as often as he would like now that it is winter. I HONESTLY try and keep him quiet as much as one can. (I am senative to loundness 2) I don't allow him to jump, pound or slam anything in the house. I take my son out to various activitites through out the week. I have even talked to them and given them my phone number to call if we are too loud. But now they abuse that and call literally, any time I cough or sneeze. Last night was the last straw. I gave my 12 pound mutt of a dog a bath and like typicla dog, he ran around after getting out of the tub. I was only 10:15. Our neigbor called to say we were being to loud. At this point my son was taking a bath and I was drying off the dog. 20 minutes later the police are @ my door. I feel this is harrassment. Any suggestions on how to encourage them to look into moving somewhere?

in the past year i have been having these horrible nightmares. this past summer, i had a dream where a man was driving by in a old beat up red truck, and in the passanger seat was a little boy about 4 or 5 years old. He was crying and begging the man not to kill him. The truck stopped by am alley and dragged the little boy by the arm into it. The little boy continued to scream and I could hear him sobbing. Then the two were out of view, and suddenly everthing was silent. then i woke up practically crying,

Another dream I had, just happened a week ago. Here it is: My friend and i are sitting out in my front yard talking like we do in real life. Then a man is walking down the street, we can't see his face, because he's wearing a hood. All of a sudden he stops right in my front yard, but still in the road. He starts wallking toward us and it's like we're frozen, because we don't even attempt to get up and run inside the house. Then when he is at the end of driveway, he pulls out a gun

I will be travelling alone for Xmas this year as my Fiancee' is in Europe on her work placement. I am expected to be at my parents' place this Xmas (they are hosting Xmas and will have many relatives there). I really want to get a Motel room as they will already have relatives staying there (babies and young kids). I mentioned this to my Mom (I stupidly thought it would relieve her of some of the holiday prep stress) and she was somewhat offended, saying that stuffing everyone into one place was "the fun of Christmas" and that the other relatives would be offended by this. I was told that it was only a few days out of the year, and that I wasn't being consdierate if I couldn't put myself out for a few days. Never does the thought of me actually having a good "family" holiday for once ever come up. It's all about these stupid and tired traditions that everyone must pretend to like every year. So basically I'm wondering if it is a bad idea to get a local Motel room? Any other ideas?

My budget is $20 or less. I know he likes coffee. And I think he is pretty athletic - likes to do sports stuff. I'm just at a loss as to what a good office appropriate gift would be. I was thinking maybe a coffee thermos with his name engraved on it?
