A personal note: "My arms are around you in a big hug right now. I feel so sad that you are going through such sorrow right now and I just want you to know that you are not alone. I am here for you always."

I would just tell her that you are sorry and that your sympathies go to her and that you are here for her if she needs anything..sometimes it's not what you say but them knowing that somebody is there is they need a hug or somebody to talk to...

Find a nice sympathy card and write "My Condolences, please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family".

whatever you write just don't write., "I am sorry for your loss"
I read it that it is one of the things you SHOULD NOT WRITE
or SHE WAS A GOOD PERSON
