My husband and I are unsure of the etiquette - how much are we supposed to tip the mailman and garbage men? Our garbage route is run by three men - a driver and two who grab the cans - do we give them three times the mailman's Christmas tip to accomidate the larger number? Please help!

i was brought up to believe it was extremely bad manners to say the least when one yawned or coughed in public with their mouths open. i find that these days with careless abandon, everyone seems to just do it. open theie mouth irrespective of where they are and the odours they emit, they just open their mouths and yawn. what happened to being socially respectful or social etiquette. this is appalling. terribly!

So yesterday it was my friends birthday party and i was at the party and she had this alcohol table set up and i was like ok maybe i'll have a few drinks to loosen up and try and have some fun so i went to the table and fixed myself a drink too many until i was drunk ya i lost count of how many beverages i was having but so what so i was acting a little strange and she came up to me and she was like omg, are you drunk? And at my party? I was like no i'm not and then she was like whatever and so i stood up on a table and started singing how come everytime you come around my london london bridge wanna go down like london london london and then i passed out on the couch for the rest of the party and i woke up after the party was over and everyone was gone and then she confronted me and she was like how could you do this to me and i was like what and she was like you missed my whole party and i was like well maybe if you didnt have an alcohol table i wouldnt have gotten drunk

I live in a very nice neighborhood on a cul-de-sac road and one of the houses next to mine plays hard rock music all the time. Well, I have asked them THREE times, nicely, to please turn down their music. I can hear it in my living room it's so loud and even over the tv. Well, they turn it down everytime I ask, but then a few weeks later they will start playing music again!! I mean c'mon people, I just want to ask them if they're f***ing stupid. I mean they know its loud, so they obviously know that when they play it, that we can hear it. I pay way too much for my house to not even watch tv in peace. What should I do next?? We plan on living here for a couple more years so I don't want to have a bad relationship with them and be the bitchy neighbor but I would also like to live in peace. I want to call the cops but like I said, I don't want anyone to hate me. Thanks!!!

I sat next to this lady who kept looking around at various people, if someone got up to use the restroom or arrived late she just looked right at them and stared. Another lady just flat out stares!! and one week it was right at me.

I've encountered many people who get mad when I respond with "I don't want to talk about that right now " or "i dont really want to want to share that story with you" or "Its not the right time to talk about that." Is there any alternate response I can give to nosy people asking about my personal life??

Don't you just hate it when people talk during the film. We went to see the Prestige tonight. Not only did my partner suggest something that turned out to be key to the story, but some T**T behind me had the indecency to reveal the end of the story.

Anyone else feel the same?

I like the suspension of disbelief, even if sub-consciously know how the ending is going to pan out. I would prefer to be taken along for the ride, and wait for the 'prestige' at the end of the film.

We are not being selfish, we like having guests! But our grocery expenses have been ridiculous considering that we are students (on loans!). How can I ask a close friend who eats at our place a lot to share the expenses for previous month?

I have been tracing my family tree for a while.All the info is available to me on the internet for me to trace if i want to. but one lady says ive copied it from hers, but it was someone else who must of copied it and they gave me the permission to use it. I cant remember who it was. Short of changing my email what can i do to stop her threats. i have removed my tree from all sites. please help it was an honest mistake.
