That guys greet other by slapping hands? And some of them slap hands and then do that chest to chest thing. Why are they touching each other? Are they gay?

No, they are not gay. It's called male bonding. People can touch each other, slap hands, shake hands, even hug, without being gay.

People who are friendly toward each other usually want to enforce their bond by touch, its just human nature. While women generally hug, men do a more masculine thing like handshake, or slap, and belly bounce. Its not gay, its just being friendly.

well the answer is simple.....
the custom of doing the chest to chest thing is of immense use according to the latest studies....it is said to increase certain harmones of the two engaged in embracing that helps in curbing a few diseases.....hence latest medical science recommends it.
....A thing of intrest for you would be that the custom of embracing between men has been a part of religion in case of Muslims as Islam teaches this way of greeting...the benefits of it has been revealed by latest science after 1400 years.......
