Absolutely - but the important thing is to lead by example, not lip service.
Peace!

Some people have different definitions of nice. I worked with a person, who was married, DINK, total household salary, over 200K.
Her idea of being nice to people was telling them that they should be saving lots of money for retirement and telling them how to raise their children.
SHe came off as being an arrogant know-it-all. In her mind she was nice.

In fact, you could easily argue that the best way to preach is by practice.

It'd make them more authentic, but there are many who do not preach things which would not be very helpful to practice.

Yes. If you can point out things wrong with the world, or things that bother you, but wont do anything to change these things, thats just dumb.

Words do say alot, but actions always speak louder than words. Do as you believe, live as you believe and you will be taken as a person who lives by his or her beliefs, an example to others.

maybe what we really need is less preaching, and more practice at being nice.
