My sisters are twins and they are starting to attend many bat mitzvahs. When i was younger i received either $36 or $50 from all of my friends at my bat mitzvah and my mom gave out the same amount to my friends. Now my sisters are starting to go to bat mitzvahs except my mom is having trouble because there are two of them. When they attend these bat mitvzahs how much should they give? Give as if it were two seperate children is a lot of money!

P.S. my sisters bat mitzvah isn't for another year so my mom can't give out presents based on how much they received from the person because there bat mitzvah is last.

I know some1 who thinks she is always right and every1 else is wrong. She was talking to this girl abt something, turned out that girl was even more stubborn than her. She said that she was soo stubborn. I laughed thinking she has no clue she is like that herself.

My daughters have been invited to two Bat Mitzvah parties this month. I'm not Jewish, so I don't know the customs involved in this celebration. I assume they should bring gifts, but what is appropriate?

Thanks for your advice!!

Last night at work, I walked in the lunch room to begin eating. Out of no where a guy that works frozen foods ran up to our Manager (a lady), turned around on her and farted so loud! Everyone laughed but I got up, told him he was ignorant and disgusting. I said if you had done that to me, I would have flattened ya. Some guys are sick!

By stupid people I mean people who can't speak for themselves or think for themselves. We all have been given brains for a reason, why do people believe what they hear rather than researching on a topic for themselves? That is why I have so much respect for people who opinionated and strong in their beliefs but still open-minded to hearing other people's thoughts.

there are CCTV cameras in the gym, he decided to have a workout and was busted and prompty lost his job.
his own private office isn't monitored by cameras and contains heavy things like wheelie bins and heavy planks of wood. he could've had a ghetto style workout and still have kept his job, seems like such a waste and further evidence that big brother is watching us all.

When shopping at Sainsburry's or at other supermarkets,
do you usually ask the cashier to pack what you bought in bags, or do you do so yourself?
Is it expected to give the cashier a "tip" for packing help,
or is it part of their job?

Thanks

What should you do if your flat's neighbour plays loud music? I have tried to ask him to turn it down, and he obliged. But next time, he does the same thing again. I'm thinking of reporting to the council, but I'm afraid if this neighbour finds out, he can make my life hell.

I work in an semi-industrial lot, and I was wondering what to do with some annoying neighbourhood kids. At first, I was just nice to them in the hope they would get bored and go away, but they seem to be visiting more and more regularly and its bloody annoying.

I just want to be left alone so I can do my writing, but they keep wanting to interact with me - ignoring them doesn't seem to affect their enthusiasm, not to mention their (unfunny) practical jokes.

Is there like a magic bullet for this?
