When I say for example "Do you mind if I borrow this?" Often they will reply with "yes of course" or "no not at all".

Its confusing to me because I am not sure if they mean "yes of course I mind" or "yes of course you can use it" Is it confusing to you?

I can usually figure them out by their body language but it can be confusing.

Ok so I have a co-worker who always call in sick...either she's sick, or got migraine, or her friend's in the hospital and she had to be there, or her boyfriend borrowed her car and she had no way of getting to work...and blah blah ... so today my other co-worker called me and told me if I heard from B...?..I said "no...why?" my co worker said that well she just text me & said that she's in a car accident, so I said OMG! I hope she's ok..but later that day I found out that she'd also text one of our co-worker too about her accident..so when our night supervisor arrived I asked him if he heard from B...?..he said that B's.... friend called him and told him about the accident and that she's in the hospital. So "why" would she tell her friend to call the supervisor but not tell her parents to call? (which she still lives w/ them by the way)...and why did she had time to text?...I'm rolling my eyes right now...why is it that some people can just get away with this?...it's just not fair!

besides working at night. why do some of us like to stay up late.
for me i just like being up my dad is going to tell me to go to bed soon and all i will do is stay out for a little while and then go in my room and draw or think about stuff. I do sleep and like to i just wish every one would go to bed around 2 and sleep till 9 . on school days i stay up to about 12 or 11 and wake up at 6:45 and i am fine. i start to do home work at 8 and finish at 10 unless i have a lot or need to study then its starts at 6. but my whole family is kind of on the same time as me( my dad comes home from work at 8 or 9 so that when we eat dinner)
what time is it for you now? and when do you think you are going to bed? why do you think you are doing this? and what do you do this late?

It is almost 2:00 in the morning...should I go over there with a baseball bat and smash their stereo in? Then say "Love has nothing to do with it, b*tch!" They have been playing this retarded song on repeat for 40 minutes now...very loudly.

My bus driver often stares at me through the rear view mirror. I have realised that he does not do the same with others. Whenever I get in and pay the fares he is all so shy and blushed and smiles gorgeously. He is young and attractive, I know, but I am very embarassed to ask him what is going on in his mind. He always asks other people to give me space when I am getting down and stops the bus readily nearer to my home than the actual point of stoppage, even if other people have rung the bell to get down at that point. I tested to see what he is doing one day after getting down from the bus and waving him goodbye and found that he looks on to me as I walk away before he moves on.
I like him a lot but I do not know if I should ask him anytihng. Should I?

I work in a cubical set up office. The woman over the wall from me has a some kind of chronic coughing problem for over 2 years. No exaggeration, it is loud boisterous couching fits of 45 seconds or more a minimum of 70 – 80 times a day. I do feel very bad for her condition but it is to a point of distracting and even aggravating anyone within 50 yards of her. She can work from home but chooses not to. Moving my desk does not solve the overall problem. Is this something I should bring to management? Is it a legitimate complaint? What can be done?

ok so heres the thing, I am 22 and married almost two years and when i meet new people at work or where ever the first thing they ask is am i married and when i say yes they want to know if i have kids, when i say no they want to know why not.
for me it is a very complicated thing for many reasons my mother has bi-polar disorder and so do a lot of women in my family this has caused a lot of problems for them and their ability to raise children.
i am very afraid to be a mother i am afraid that i will act the same as they all did. but that is not something i can explain to a person i just meet even my closest friends don't understand where i am comming from.
so how do i politely answer this question it upsets me everytime

Today I wore to work beige Velour sweatsuit, and I sat somewhere and got a little light stain on my bum, very light the only way to notice it was if someone where to stare at my bum. Well one of my co-workers (a man in his late 40s, I'm 26) told me I had a stain. Now maybe I'm making too much of this, but I was kinda offended. I felt like first of all "Why is he looking at my butt?" Remember, I said that the ONLY way to notice if someone where to gazed at my butt.

My question probably isn't what you thought it was going to be but here we go...
Our mail carrier has been working for about a good year now, in my neighborhood. We're a close-quarters neighborhood, made up of all houses (no gates) and he does this thing that really, really irritates me. What he does is, when he has a package to deliver he'll sit in the truck and honk until you come out and go to his truck in your driveway to pick up the package. When I say honk, I don't mean like a non-stop honk but I mean like regular honks until you come out and it usually takes me 3 honks to come out because I'm usually getting ready for work, when he comes. I mean, I'd understand if he did this if there were dogs in the neighborhood or something but there isn't.
I want to say something but I don't know if this is policy or something for them or if this guy's actually being rude. After all, I wouldn't want to disgruntle him for no reason :-) Bad joke, LOL! Please, give me your thoughts. Thanks!

I have just resurrected a website I created some years back but had neglected for the past few. It's at http://www.gumblasters.com. Its purpose is to promote gum-chewing etiquette and give people disgusted by rude and/or inappropriate gum chewing a place to vent. What do you think?

got access to this guy been messaging him told him not to reply, don't know if he listend or got messges don't even know if he wants to reply, but the questions is at what time do you stop? if ever. i think my behaviour could put me in a classic stalker list or at least permanently obssessed, but then again thats his fault and he should expect that.
