I have just resurrected a website I created some years back but had neglected for the past few. It's at http://www.gumblasters.com. Its purpose is to promote gum-chewing etiquette and give people disgusted by rude and/or inappropriate gum chewing a place to vent. What do you think?

Rude unnecessary and I wish gum had never been invented. People are not just chewing and popping it loud they are spitting it on the ground, putting it under desks and chairs. It's the worst thing on the market I think.

I think a person that cracks their gum at work, around co-workers or customers - should be smacked...
I don't care what they do in their own home.
I think popping your gum is a display of ignorance and poor upbringing.
But I don't need a website to vent.

I think they need to go live in a barn with the chewing cows.
It's very annoying ,no class. the other thing I can't stand is when people make noises when they eat. I know someone that makes this weird sound when they eat,it sounds something like HUMMMHUMMMYUMMMYUMMM! It's so nasty.

I cant stand loud chewers,doesnt matter what they are chewing. Makes me want to rake their eyes out, I know a little extreem but comeon is there really and need to chew loudly

I think it's a good idea. I think noisy gum chewers should have their gum yanked out of their mouths and stuffed up their noses.

OMG!!!!
My biggest pet peeve is hearing people eat/chew food.
I think it makes people look realy ignorant and ill-mannered when they chew and some even have the guts to talk while they're chewing!!!!!

Give them a name that sounds like the sound they make! A girl in my school always made the sound "Chawlk!" when she chewed, so that's what we called her! She finally stopped doing it.

like you, i do not like noisy gum chewers, but i can not see myself "venting" on a website about it. good luck, though.

Ugh, I cant stand that. Drives me insane. My hubby tends to smack his gum. He doesnt realize hes doing it, till I point it out.
