Don't take justice into your own hands, It will only make things worse. I know, it is very tempting to go over and bash their stereo, but the right course of action is to knock on their door and ask them to turn it off or lower the volume. If this doesn't work, then call the police. Who knows, maybe the person fainted or is ill and cannot get to the phone to call for help... Try talking to your neighbor first before calling the police. Neighbors can be very annoying, but they are the people most close to you; you never know when you might need a favor from them. Imagine yourself in the same situation: Would you prefer for the neighbor to check on you and see if you were okay, or receive the visit of a police officer?

When you hear his stereo go off, wait about 30 minutes for him to go to sleep. Hook up your television to your stereo if possible and play a very loud distracting children's video..over and over again. If you speaker wires let out, point them towards his house, opening the windows facing his house. Keep changing the song every few seconds or set your DVD player to repeat a very loud rude segment.

If you have to be somewhere in the morning then call the police and have them ask your neighbor to turn it down.... you can remain anonymous and the problem will be solved, the next morning contact the home owners association and report the disturbance and with enough complaints the can do something about it

Ha! Even better...go over there with a baseball bat and smash their stereo and sing "Who needs a stereo when a stereo can be broken?"

I used to play 'Child in Time' by Deep Purple really loud if I heard someone playing rap too loud. I had a really loud stereo system, and if you are not into hard rock, that tune is downright scary.
Download that song, and crank it!

Go over and let them know love has nothing to do with your right to some peace in your own home. Please turn your stereo down and let love find a way to have some peace in the evening. If that does not work then call the police I'm sure there is a noise ordnance in your area they will have to comply with. Let them know your sorry if love can't find a way to help them with there issues but love will find a way to have them arrested if they can't keep it down......................Good luck...............

I say Baseball bat take as many bats as they played that song, it will cover the amount of pain you had to go through listening to that STUPID song.

Call the police and have them investigate. If the neighbours ask you why you called tell them you were concerned that something might be wrong and you felt it was your duty.
Who knows there could be foul play.

Leave him alone and put on your noise-cancelling headphones. The poor guy might have just been dumped by one of those "Gurlz Just Wanna have Fun" type of gals who used him and then broke his heart.
