my daughter wants me to put them up what do you think

think its abit early...
but if your daughters young.. it makes them look forward to it more so may be nice...
saw a christmas tree in the pub last night....
plus its only 50 days away!!.. whooo

Oh goodness no I haven't even done the Thanksgiving dinner shopping yet, its around Thanksgiving time that I will begin to put up my Christmas decorations. (smile) see, now your getting me in the holiday spirit. But, if your baby wants them up now, why not....go for it, make her happy, who cares what other people think, and besides around her where I live people keep their lights up all year round and light them up....they just take down any images of Santa and the like, but the lights stay on all summer. Have Fun! P.S. Don't put the tree up though...save that for just after Thanksgiving.

No affence but i think it is too early i havent saw anyone with the decorations up yet so you dont want to be the only person do you ?

too early.. wait until thanksgiving is over...just because the stores put christmas decorations out before halloween, doesnt mean we have to.

Keep her in suspense a bit longer...it's just because the shops have started and the ads on telly. Patience is a virtue...not to the under 10s mind you!!!

my husband and my kids would have them up if i gave in and said yes, but i couldn't stand it yet !
there is a bloke near us that has his up already ! he even has the outside of the house done already !!!
i think its still a bit early and if you put them up now you would be sick of them by the time we get to christmas. hang in there a bit longer yet.

Yes, we have had them up for three years now. never taking them down, getting new ones this year but after that they're staying put!

no but soon though, I always put them up when its really cold out, but not this year.
