If you live on campus as a freshman in a dorm, do you always have the public showers. At some colleges can you have a bathroom in your actual dorm room?

SHOULD I GET RID OF IT? It's not like anyone else I know can use it. My mom was 95 pounds and 5' 2".

I personally am as least 2 sizes too big for it and I got married years ago.

So my bday party was today, and my friend gave me a computer game that I already have. I LOVE it, but since I already have it, it's not too useful for me. She didn't include a receipt, but is it possible to return it to Target? I know that's where she got it b/c she told me. But what I REALLY NEED TO KNOW, is how to write the thank you note. Please help!!!!

Okay, i just plain don't get it. Everywhere i go i hear people say, "I have to take a crap." Aside from being rude in more than a few cases, it's outright disgusting. Personally, and i hope i represent more than a few people, I have NEVER taken a crap. I always choose to leave it instead.

Maybe you can provide insight?

there is a girl that i work with I have been at my job for almost a year and she has only been there a couple of months. i work on a line in a medical factory. our line has been having problems making our numbers and she is one of the reasons why. i had to be moved for a couple of days to fill in on another line and she took over my spot when it came time for me to come back i went to my spot and told her our boss would be over in a minute to figure out where everyone would go and she said "oh no i need to speak with her about this." when i told her i already had spoken to the boss she said ok but when i turned around she was up at the bosses desk.
she came back in a few minutes and said "oh she doesn't want you over here."
the next thing i know i am somewhere else doing a job i don't like!
the problem with this is that i can produce 3 parts to this girls one!
so what can i do with this girl everyone hates her and keeps getting things her way because her dad works in the office!

high fives? Whenever I do something good she is always slapping me a high five. In my home country this is viewed as sodomy. Is this socially acceptable in the United States?

I'd like to get away from my folks and have some fun at the same time. None of my friends really have a "party pad" or anything of the like, so I was wondering if I'd be able to have a get together with friends at a hotel.

First off, this question is not about people's inherent right to post political views, signs, etc. on their property. I fully support that right. So please don't waste time addressing that issue.

However, my question pertains to whether those who choose to post political signs, etc. on their lawn potentially risk neighborhood "chemistry". In my opinion, it's hard enough to get along with neighbors under the best of circumstances, so openly declaring your political preference will surely alienate half of your neighborhood. Thoughts?

I work in a convenient store and it seems that everyone disregards the penny, I certainly do... I always find them on the floor, in the dirt, my brother used to flick them into the street... is it an obsolete thing or what? Tell me why we should hold onto it okay!

"Ms. MaidenName" or "Mrs. MaidenName" -- my cousin is getting married and I'd like to help her with addressing our invite. How would it be?

Thanks!

This is a legitimate question. I am not a child-hater, and I am not talking about getting a coffee to go while you happen to have your children with you.

Coffee shops are traditionally places for adult conversations--philosophers,writers, not to mention the more modern use of adult singles meeting at these locales. To be fair, I will admit that I don't think it's an appropriate setting for children (the main fare is coffee, afterall), and their presence changes the atmosphere immensely ("Johnny, don't! What did I say?!" is often yelled). So, while I do wish parents would not, but I am legitimately wondering why you do so? Thanks in advance!
