Typical consultants who come in on Monday and leave on Thursday evening do work late do manage to travel light. Is it OK for them to re-use same set of clothes during the stay?

I used to do this kind of work. I tried to pack light, but not as light as some of my co-workers. I think it is easier for men because men's suits more or less all look alike. For a four-day trip I would bring two suits, four shirts and four ties. I would change underwear everyday of course, but I wore the same shoes and belt the whole week.

On and couple of occasions, a four-day trip turned into a five-day trip. In these cases, I either did laundry in the hotel room sink or bought a dress shirt and change of underwear.

Depending on specifics, maybe you could get by on less if you do laundry and/or send clothes to the cleaners during the trip.

As long as it gets laundered.
