Last night at work, I walked in the lunch room to begin eating. Out of no where a guy that works frozen foods ran up to our Manager (a lady), turned around on her and farted so loud! Everyone laughed but I got up, told him he was ignorant and disgusting. I said if you had done that to me, I would have flattened ya. Some guys are sick!

there is a lack of respect in both men and woman,what he did was a great example of today's lack of respect,everyone laughed just as disrespectful,the only thing you can do is have manners yourself,teach your children to have manners,you cant change the way others act but you can choose not to participate

You're right, some guys just don't know any better. But it really just depends on the guy you are talking about. There are some that are young, immature, and inconsiderate. But there are others that are responsible, polite, and chivalrous.
If you don't like the guys that are around you, you should consider getting a new job or moving to another place. All you can do is treat people with respect and hope that they will do the same.

Not all men are like that, but I know what youre saying. My hubby used to have great manners, and now he walks thru the house burping and farting as loud as he can. It IS sick, and they wonder why we dont want to be around them. They get too comfortable with us , I guess.

men will always be men. In this case that guy is just unprofessional. If he does that in front of his manager imagine if he will do the same in front of his customer. That's just rude! That tells you how he was taught as a kid. If his family didn't teach him about manner as a child he will never know what's right from wrong as an adult.

You should have asked the guys who laughed what they would have done if he had done that to them (I seriously doubt they would have laughed). Then ask the obvious follow-up question phrased as politely or rudely as think is appropriate.
