Yes. Because they are just words. It depends on when, where, how you use them, and present company. I'll yell expletives when I stub my toe or my favorite team loses, but I tame it down in the presence of anyone else who might be offended. And it's never directed AT them.

It's not about being educated... I am very well read and I have a huge vocabulary but I'll use profanity when I feel like using it. Sometimes it's for shock value, sometimes it's to sharply get a point across, othertimes it could be just because I am so mad I want to throw it out there. I don't swear at work or in certain company.

Yes, because in a world of words sometimes the most appropriate one may be considered vulgar and convey the most appropriate emotion. Words are words it is the listener/reader who has to mature enough to recognize that they only have the power one chooses to give them.

No I personally do not use foul or vulgar language. And I find it very rude to hear others use it. I always think they are lacking in the vocabulary department, because if they expand their vocabulary they would have more words to use instead of sounding so ignorant. God bless

rarely. the only one i say when i get really mad is 'b***h or b*****d' and i say hell because in my religon its not an offense. so that doesnt count. in the big picture, a little bit of swearing doesnt matter, especially if it is outta shock. but if you earn a rep. as someone who swears often thats a different story.....

As I have always told my children, people who use profanity or vulgarities are people not enough civilized or educated to be able to express themselves so they revert to inappropriate verbalization's. (in other words ignorance)

Occasionally. Usually when I'm angry or joking around. I'm not someone who curses just for the heck of it.
